momof3kids-Yvonne 596
I could deal with the smaller cookies. But getting rid of the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. That is a sin (well at least it should be)!
DaveInTN 3,247
I could deal with the smaller cookies. But getting rid of the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. That is a sin (well at least it should be)! X2. I can eat twice as many cookies so the size is irrelevant. But the elimination of those cookies SMB. That's my FAVE cookie. Well, besides white chocolate with dried cherry cookies, which you don't often find.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
FWIW I don't think this means they're disappearing altogether from WDW, just at "Banquets, Buffets & Concierge locations"
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
FWIW I don't think this means they're disappearing altogether from WDW, just at "Banquets, Buffets & Concierge locations"In other words, the price of them is high, most of the folks in Banquets, Buffets & Concierge locations are paying a set price for the items served no matter what they serve and what size, so they are increasing their profit by serving smaller cookies and less expensive cookies
ftwildernessguy 778
They don't let me into any of those areas, anyway, so I don't give a crap.
ftwildernessguy 778
Now the old ladies will be able to fill their purses easier.
Lou... 3,118
so they are increasing their profit by serving smaller cookies and less expensive cookies I'm not sure that this was a dollars and cents thing.Playing devils advocate here. Could it be that they were throwing away a lot of 2oz cookies and now they're throwing away a lot of 1oz cookies. When I was Concierge at the GF, a continental breakfast was served every morning and we ended up throwing out a ton, and I mean a ton, of uneaten or partially eaten food every morning They don't let me into any of those areas Goes to show you that Disney does some things right.
