Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
Day 5 - Cont After lunch and it's tough to be a bug, which for future reference I can no longer watch. We headed back to the Fort for a rest. While there it was time for me to rectify an oversight on my part. You see there is one treat that no fiend should, allergy allowing, have done without. Here is my first ever Mickey Head Ice cream- You know I am really not sure what happened next but either we got bored, the kids wanted to go into space OR we had come home for something specific because just a bit later we were looking at this- So the kids headed off to do their thing, I got a check in time of 15 minutes at this lovely hotel-And apparently a FP or two- I have to admit that after the screaming girls, I was hedging my hearing bets every time I got on ToT. I like to hear things. i am not overly fond of ringing ears... thus explains my T-Rex arm placement here Ride #2 - figured since I requested and was granted a back seat ride I was safe from the back-Now I have flashed alot of ToT fastpasses on this TR. Some might ask, why no RRC FP... Single Rider Line, baby. I have, to date, on twice ridden with someone I knew on RRC. Even at WWW, we all rode single rider. On the way, for Dave- Ride Photo- Now something really strange happened. I have this picture. You know what that means. We must have visited something on Bay Lake....hmmm, Jewel #1 perhaps-Here is your proof with a big ol' thanks to Judy, of the crazy eyed persuasion For my dear Melissa - Speaking of Fiends - Next up - The Viliage, The Duck, & The YMCA BradyBzLyn...Mo

Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
Day 6 - It Takes a Village to get The Duck into a Park Since arrival I had been in contact with several of the fiends in the area and knew that some of them had plans to go to Epcot to see the Village People. They didn't necessarily know that the other was coming in some cases. I sent Shawn and the kids into the parks so the kids wouldn't get bored with the plan to meet up later and ride the bus home with them. I was gonna wait until Sugar Britches and Sugar Knees arrived. Then I would go to the park with them. They showed up and we had a nice long visit. Here we are on the tram to Epcot- After getting through the gates we met up with Mellissa and headed to our first ride. DJD- Melissa and I decided to be Portuguese on our journey- Due to messing around during picture time our portraits look a bit ... off- We wondered around a bit. We checked into a secret Melissa knew about (which i don't have pics for). We rode Living with the Land and Figment. Melissa got her a Dole Whip, I believe, and Missy and I did some window shopping. Missy is stylin- Once Melissa had rejoined us and was ready to move we made our way around the showcase we headed to france. Melissa picked up a few of these- YUM! Meanwhile "Miracles do happen" as Lorna Duck finally makes it into a park- And it only too a Village of People to get her there- After the Village People were done, we stopped into the Carmel shop- before heading to China to grab some dinner. From there it was decided I would send the IF back and I would return to the Fort with Lorna & Rich. We said goodnight to Melissa, TJ and Missy. And Day 6 is in the can. Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
Day 7 - Fortin Around - Yes, more than one or two Fort Pictures We have reached the point at which the original TR stopped. In large part due to some very tragic events. So everything from this point on should be brand spanking new to those not on FB. So I am gonna be honest, I have no idea were most of these were taken. Pretty sure this one is coming out of 900 loop- Spanish Moss Lane, according to the sign- Near Group Camping- Alligator near group camping- It is no secret here that we had a Great Dane and lost him last year. So when we saw this beautiful girl, I was delighted to stop and talk to the owners. The WWW will remember here since the owners were in our loop. Meet Abby- Meet Gibbs- We saw them one other day as they were walking the dogs through the campground.Moving on- Canal Shot- Dog Park- Mo's home away from home- Our first site on our first Fort Visit- This is familiar to several of the WWW - And apparently that was all of the Fort stuff, surprised I made it this long out of a park? Fear not, park time is coming!!

Not that I am judging.

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
We came out in time to see the fireworks and let me just say Mr. TCD doesn't tell you how freaking loud they are from here. WOW! Sorry for that omission. You are right- the fireworks are extremely loud when viewed from New Fantasyland. Before this trip, I read about a ride in a TCD report that I had disregarded for my kids. The Sum of All Thrills. With a title like that I was sure it couldn't be for us, until I read about it from TCD. As my son could program his own ride, thus choose his own experience I thought this is something we should try. However, as it's virtual that leaves me out. So, how did everyone like SOAT? Makes a nice replacement for Soarin, since the line ensures we usually only ride that once or twice a visit so thanks for the tip!! :bravo:

You ought to give it a try. You can make it very mild- no upside down or sudden drops. I once tried to make the lamest ride ever. The girls had been in another pod and were finished in time to watch mine. They said it barely moved. TCD

TCDThe ablilty to make it mild is the only reason my son can do it. Which is what makes it such a winner for the family. I would love to try it but it's not the mildness of the ride. Typically the wilder the ride the more i like it. It's the simulator aspect. Same reason I can't do 3D. As a matter of fact last time i rode soarin I had to close my eyes... it was fun that way but not the same.
Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
Day 6 - The Day In Which The Kids Got Grounded Yes, that's right. Though I can't remember exactly what heinous acts my kids committed (though I am guessing it probably involved the rare physical violence of hitting) my kids got grounded while at the Fort. This left us with a problem. Whatever plans we had were done... or were they. My feeling is that if you have to ground your kids on vacation, don't just everybody sit around. Get out there and let them think about what they are missing. This also meant some tag teaming with IH. My turn first -Random Inside Bus Picture to Drive Lou Crazy- I called in and changed our ADR or got a ADR for one at the Yak & Yeti but I had time to kill so time to take a Safari - (plus it had just started raining) No idea what I was trying to get a picture of... Perhaps just some random details of the ride instead of just animals- Seems like due to the rain I have a water fascination- Once my Safari was done I needed to get over to Asia for my dinner. I remember having to fight the crowd, post parade, to get there but I finally arrived. Beef Broccoli- My entree was good but as many of you know, for me, it's all about the Fried Wonton Desert. I love these more than I love the Bread Pudding at Raglan Road and that is saying something- Why am i suddenly hungry? While I waited for my food to digest, so I could take an expedition I shopped a bit and found this - It reminded me of a bunch of crazy WWW running around that I just had to get it. Did I mention it was still raining? Do you know what happened on this rainy mid week day at AK when it rains? Everest becomes walk on. Though I am sure I rode it at least twice, maybe 3 times, I only have the one ride photo. Sunglasses during the rain aren't worn for the coolness factor but for the random rain drop factor After finishing my expeditions, I came home to watch this- Next up (due to large number of photos) - What IH did on his solo jaunt on the day the kids got grounded
