Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
So I have let this TR languish for some time. Some of it is life, some of it is off the cuff crazy 24 hour returns to MK, and some of it was just cause. I have spent the last 20 minutes trying to figure out where to pick up this TR but frankly I am not sure how. So I think the best bet is to restart it from the top (also because I am having severe WDW withdrawals). I know i can't compete with the funny comments of the original "writers" but perhaps they will jump in and make comments on the posts. Plus due to my less than diligent FB posting (not putting all the pictures in the correct album) some pics where missed. So with all that said here we go... we had spent the previous week in St. Mary's, GA just one mile from the Florida line. Sorry Gwen, IH wasn't stopping to get orange juice after just one mile of driving. This is as close as we ever get to the main gates entering Walt's World. IH prefers the back way into the Fort. We pulled out, according to a picture, of the Outpost at 11:18. Despite the fact that I always fax in a request they never seem to get it. So after some negotiating, we got one of the sites I wanted. I can't for the life of me remember the number but it was in the upper 900's about 4 spots from the CS. I was hoping to get Carol's site from Halloween but it didn't happen. This picture was taken at 11:51am. Here is the Meadow/Meadows Trading post two minutes later. On the very blurry bus- This is where we are headed first that day but only for one reason. Time to get our AP's switched over to the RFID cards. Naturally, as is my gift, we were blessed with the opportunity to observe the BDEP (Bus Driver Exchange Program) And at 12:30 we have this! That's right folks, in just over an hour IH has leveled, chocked, and unhitched the TT and I was in a Park - DJD Carol's Fountain - (snapped on the run/fast walk) On our way to get our RFID Passes - (The Flowers Float) A family must - (Things For Dave's Kids to Do while he drinks?) At this point, we are on two missions. The most vital is to find food, with allergy kid that isn't easy at Epcot, and to get to DHS. So we are moving fast- Missing My Tattoo Buddies Here is where we decided to stop for food.Pood Forn - Still trying to figure out how it stayed in the cup IH's lunch My attempt at eating off the kids menu - After eating it was time to try something we had never done and which I had only heard Carol, Mo, & TCD talk about. Take the bus from the International Gateway to DHS. By 2:11 we where waiting for a boat to return- Yes folks, we had arrived in park, gotten our RFID passes, eaten lunch and were now waiting to get to the main prize of the first day. Our boat finally arrives and we are off- When I pick this back up it's time for the family to split up, tour the stars, rock the coaster and drop a few floors... separately of course. AC in A2......Aaron 693
I am glad you are starting this over Nicki. Looking forward to this! I have never taken the boat from the IG to DHS either.
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
I'm happy to see you finishing this off! So I was trying to figure out the best way to get from the fort to Cape May ... and you just solved it for me! Bus to EPCOT, walk to IG, and boat from there!

Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
The Ultimate First Day Desitination - Disney Hollywood Studios Prior to receiving my freedom to ride whatever I wished last Oct, DHS was NOT my favorite park. As a matter of fact I rarely made it two hours in this park. Once however we had "been there and done that" before, my family waves me off to go ride the things I like and they ride the things I can't or don't. That turn to the right is where we split up. They head to Star Tours for multiple rides. I head here for multiple rides - I used the kids AP's to procure three FP for it. But first -The place at which certain WWW got their Tats- Random Light fixture pic- Ride Picture Fail for RRC.Now it's back to ToT Ride #1 Ride #2 and if you look in the back row you will see the reason I was deaf for an hour and didn't do ride #3. Back Row Blue Shirts and the corner girl. Now I know that screams from ToT can be heard from a great distance but Shawn and the kids distinctly heard them from just outside this store. I know this because when he asked why I wasn't riding with my third FP, he said you were on "THAT" ride. Three single girls made enough noise to be heard from, probably, the park entrance. Walk in, Walk on bus service Looks like we rounded out our night where they serve in these - Cinderella Art Pre Dinner- And now I want to go back just to ride ToT and eat at TE..... Next Update - Day Two Commences

Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
TOT and Trails End.......that is a good start. Ear ringing SMB though.ToT and TE are the best way to start. I see a ritual coming on. I am not sure how much was true scared and how much was put on but at least one of the girls was in primal scream mode... OY!
Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
Day Two Commences - Let's Go Back To Epcot Some Fort Pictures, on the way to the bus stop - Random Bus Ride Pic- I don't think we rode this first but it was the first time I had noticed this on DJD (aka Spaceship Earth)- Having finally hopped on TT during WWW2013, I decided that it would be mild enough for my son to ride. He is one of the unfortunate people that just can't ride thrill rides. We it appears I forgot a few things that might be unpleasant to him but he did enjoy designing the car. Strangely the same child can ride Mission Space without a problem... Let's just say he didn't like it and leave it at that. Traffic Jam - on this particular day we had a lot of ride stoppages. Just about everything we rode that was on a track or loop... I am sure that there was a Mission Space ride or two amongst all this but picture fail. The next picture I have indicates we got hungry. Now we are off to ride DJD- Apparently DJD put us off the rest of Epcot.... Ok, so really I think it was most everything was extremely busy as it was Flower & Garden on a weekend so we bailed. Who knew I had the first picture of this... I sure didn't. Wait! I have discovered the real reason we bailed.... Shocking right? IH may or may not have taken the kids for a swim while I did the laundry. I have no picture proof... they are imaginary after all. Next up - The Evening
Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
The Evening - Hmmm... Campfire, Movie or Magic.... The next picture I have is this one- Does this mean we are chilling on the beach? Hunting out the perfect spot to take Sunset pictures? Watching the kids play in the sand? Ok, if you answered yes to anyone of these then you are a newbie or delusional.... Does this help? The beach from the boat- Sunset Series (maybe) - Late Magic Hours, Perhaps? It's funny because as long a we can avoid the parade mess my whole family loves hitting the MK at night. If you can hit before the parade starts, and get to a normally busy ride, even better. Taken during our almost walk up to see Mickey Mouse- This one was taken for KFK... For Mo- Time to 'Yo Ho"- At which point me and the family split up because they aren't riding this one- Doesn't it look homey? Hands Up ladies- This one, I think was taken for the Where In the World Thread but never made it there - At this point, I have ridden everything in frontier land that I can. So it was time to reunite with the family, there was just one big problem - IH does love Disney but he doesn't know his way around as well as I do. We had a bit of a hard time meeting up as he was on the other side of the parade route. I do believe we finally managed to get IH and IK over to where I was waiting at HM. Then getting out of the park was interesting but we did manage to hop a boat back to the Fort.

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
For Mo- Hands Up ladies- There is something very wrong with both those photos... 1. It's not 91 degrees in the shade and our feet aren't melting into the pavement. 2. I'm not in the empty seat next to you!
Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
Duh. You're right. Thanks for the tip! BTW, does Cinderella have measles?Gwen both times I did this on the trip was because I wanted/needed something at Epcot. First time was to get the new passes and the second was to buy something from England Shops. I do not remember but I would avoid her if she shows up looking this way... There is something very wrong with both those photos... 1. It's not 91 degrees in the shade and our feet aren't melting into the pavement. 2. I'm not in the empty seat next to you! 1. Amen2. AC in A2......Aaron 693
Great updates Nicki. My DS7 does not like thrill rides either. DD4 does though! Lucky for me. She needs to grow one inch between now and December to get to the 44" rides (MS, EE, SM).......and she is asking me to measure her regularly.

AC in A2......Aaron 693
We made the mistake of allowing DS on TOT when he was 4......we should have known better but he was fine on BTMR before that. After TOT he wont even get back on BTMR.
Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
We made the mistake of allowing DS on TOT when he was 4......we should have known better but he was fine on BTMR before that. After TOT he wont even get back on BTMR.DS went on Prieval Whirl and went down the hill backwards. He almost passed out. Then we talked in into going on Splash Mountain, forgetting there are actually 6 drops to the ride. By the last drop, he was almost hyperventilating. That was the end of that.
