dsnylvr 0
We are at the Fort now and it looks like a tree has fallen on a camper in the 200 loop. I do not knowany particulars, just came across this during my morning bike ride, there was security and caution tape everywhere. There was also a crew on site with a bucket truck to remove the tree. I hope all are ok.

Family of Bears 98
On our way there now. Is the weather bad? Is that what caused the tree to fall?
AC in A2......Aaron 693
On our way there now. Is the weather bad? Is that what caused the tree to fall? Enjoy Brandy! Hope all in this incident and those affected by the tornadoes in Missouri and Arkansas are okay.
DaveInTN 3,247
That is scary. I hope all are ok. If it had fallen on a tent it could be much worse. I hope the camper was stout enough to protect anyone inside.
.....Gary 85
Didn't meann to make light of the seriousness of the accident or that someone could have been hurt. But I want pictures!!
jayco1 15
I do not have a picture, but it was just past us on 200, we are 209. Around 8PM, no wind, large branch completely opened the left side of the trailer, think everyone is OK. This AM Disney was cleaning up.
h2odivers...Ray 952
Hope everyone is ok. Was there storms or something last night that made it fall?

Lou... 3,118
On our way there now. Is the weather bad? Is that what caused the tree to fall? Again with the bad weather.I've been everywhere on WDW property today and there hasn't been any bad weather. Mostly sunny, breezy, and hot.
CitaPita...Carmen 59
I do not have a picture, but it was just past us on 200, we are 209. Around 8PM, no wind, large branch completely opened the left side of the trailer, think everyone is OK. This AM Disney was cleaning up. I saw this, too! It was a smallish trailer and the slide-out was completely ripped off of the side and laying on the ground. Five or size Disney workers were cleaning it out for them. They must have had small children because there was a double stroller sitting outside among the debris (which included a mattress just laying on the ground.) I didn't see any sign of a branch or tree so I had no idea what had happened. Three sites around the damaged trailer were also roped off with caution tape.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I saw a report elsewhere that the top part of a large tree broke off and fell. Looked like it hit just in front of the slide. No reports of anyone injured thankfully.

caveat lector 181
It can happen anywhere. Every time a storm blows through, Mother Nature takes down several Bradford Pear trees
Retired and Happy (Ken) 101
I understand the tree was rotted from the inside and either a 30 foot section or from 30 feet up, it just came down.
freshlybarked 4
I wish I could have grabbed my camera quicker, but we were there last week and coming back from one of the parks (driving our car) and going the opposite on the road way was a flatbed trailer with a small travel trailer on it. It took me a second to realize what it was. At first I thought it was a display trailer because you could see the entire kitchen inside. I soon realized that it was probably that trailer and it was being moved. The slide was completely off and laying separate on the flat bed and the area where it would have been was completely exposed and the top had a huge dent the size of a good sized tree branch. This was probably on Wednesday or Thursday last week.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Wow - it took them a while to get it out of there!
