BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Wilderness Lodge has regained the AAA Four Diamond Award, rejoining 7 other Walt Disney World resorts that have the same rating. An announcement from Doug Lord, General Manager of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Disney's Wilderness Lodge cited a serious effort and commitment over the past 18 months to bring the Wilderness Lodge back to a four diamond property - which it opened as in 1994. Fewer than 5% of the nearly 31,000 properties approved by AAA receive a four diamond rating.
DaveInTN 3,247
Well Mr Lord needs to spend some time focusing on his other resort. Maybe if he could get the freeloaders out of the pool, get the rangers to focus on what's important, and elevate the dining options a bit, he could get the Fort up to 1 Diamond status.
