BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Hot off the presses, the 2013 Easter activities schedule for Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is now up here...http://www.fortfiends.net/_/activities/easter-2013-activities-at-fort-wilderness-r286
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
What???? No candy scramble? No characters in their Easter finest? No hunt for the golden egg?If this is the complete schedule, they cut out everything they did at the Settlement last year, and from what I've read, several years. BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I double checked Kelly (because this is a LOT less than last year), and it does seem that this is all they're offering this year.
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
What a bunch of cheap S.O.B's.$100+ a night for a campsite and they hand out some crappy temporary tattoos? And sell $7 Easter Baskets? This place is managed by idiots!TCD
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
That makes me seriously upset. That schedule looks like what they did on Saturday last year. Z has REALLY been looking forward to having Easter there again, and we've been looking at pictures. If this is really all they do, would any Fiends like to set up an egg hunt for the little Fiends? We could still make it a festive day for them.
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
And I'm going on record to say that the 2013 Easter schedule SMB.

BuckeyeFortMama 43
I just called the fort, they haven't printed the schedule yet, but Here it is per Olympia (who spoke wonderful English and seem to actually know the campground so I trust she is right).8:30-10:15 Pioneer Hall Morning Fun8:00-9:00 Character Meet and Greet8:00-9:00 Easter Crafts9:00-Candy Scramble10:00-11:00 Easter Games11:30 Golden Easter Egg HuntPoolside Activities1:00-2:00 Easter Temp Tattoos2:00-3:00 Easter Dance Partythen normal fort activities from there. BuckeyeFortMama 43
And if this proves to be false information, GaDawgFan....Kelly and I will make sure that our mini-fiends don't miss out on Easter egg hunting!

I wonder why they've got the Sunday schedule published (I have a PDF of the printed piece at home), but not Saturday? Nevermind... rhetorical question.

I wonder why they've got the Sunday schedule published (I have a PDF of the printed piece at home), but not Saturday?Nevermind... rhetorical question. Isn't what BFM posted the Sunday schedule?According to what you posted last year, the candy scramble and egg hunt were on Sunday. I don't see any reason why they would change it this year.TCD

BuckeyeFortMama 43
I specifically asked for the activities planned for Easter Sunday. I didn't ask about Saturday.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
The activities I posted came right off the printed piece that said Sunday. I don't have it handy, but I can post it when I get home.I asked about a Saturday flyer also, and there wasn't any.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I'm going to double check the printed piece and make sure it's not me that missed something.Stay tuned...

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Ok, mystery solved.Somehow I missed an entire section when I opened the file. The additional activities that BuckeyeFortMama listed are on the published flyer.I've updated the page accordingly...http://www.fortfiends.net/_/activities/easter-2013-activities-at-fort-wilderness-r286Sorry for the mix-up folks! GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
We forgive you! I was just worried.Honestly, I'm so excited to get this at all in advance. I wasn't able to see the actual schedule until we got there last year.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Still a bummer that they dropped the entire Saturday schedule of events.
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Saturday is Zachary's 4th birthday, so they knew we'd be throwing our own party at Mickey's Backyard BBQ.
