GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
Are most sites hammock friendly? I really want to bring one on our trip. We'll be in a premium.

Lou... 3,118
I think we should answer Kelly's excellent question before we take that funny fork in the road.I'm not sure if anyone has a handle on if most premium sites have two trees that can be used for a hammock?I would bring the hammock and hope for the best. IIRC, he did manage to find a place for it on a premium last Thanksgiving.I'm with Lou - bring it and hope for the best. Worst case, make friends with the closest neighbor that has hammock-friendly trees.

Momof6....aka Marty 769
My dd and dh loved sleeping in hammocks when we were at the Fort, but be aware that they spray an insect repellent at night that left with with a rash for a few days.

fortpartyof4 108
Just don't leave the rope behind on one of the trees or you could end up in someone's TR, or worse, in the DDBHOF.We have a premium reserved for an upcoming trip, I really wanted a full hookup but couldn't get one. I still can't decide which I'd rather have. Proximity to amenities used to matter more but now that I have a cart it doesn't as much.

Tiger Bait 0
If I put up a hammock, it'll only be for show! We're constantly on the move from dawn to dusk, no time unfortunately to "hang out"!...but maybe I can sleep in it overnight???
