ImDownWithDisney 342
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we roll out to the Fort in 2 weeks. I have a FH reserved. I haven't stayed in one since I was a kid. Which loop would be best for a 40' triple slide 5'er? Thanks, Fiends.
Lou... 3,118
You might find it hard to understand, but I'm not a camper and have only stayed at the Fort 3 times, so I'm not up to speed with the abbreviations. What's a FH?

Lou... 3,118
Full hookupOf course it is. I knew that. It was a test.
Tom 15
We will be there 2 weeks from today hope to see you, most of the full hook ups seem to be close in size the main dif is the back in angle
TnBob 311
I would say, to answer your question I would ask for 1700 first then 1600 then 1800, if they give you a site in the 1900 tell them to shove it up their nose.
Lou... 3,118
shove it up their nose.Tell them it SMB instead. They'll have no clue what you mean and it'll make you feel better.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
I agree with the above posters. 1700 is the best loop. 1600 is also good, but the difference is the concrete does not widen out on 1600. The concrete does widen out on 1800, but it's kindof in the back of things. 1900 loop is awful!
ImDownWithDisney 342
Cool...thanks!
ftwildernessguy 778
For a real taste of what it would have been like to camp in the area before it was developed, go for the 1900 loop. Actually, I've camped there twice and it wasn't as bad as everyone implies.
ftwildernessguy 778
For real luxury, request the 3000 loop.
disneylitch......Debbie 61
Definitely the 1700 loop!!!!!
LONE-STAR 370
We stayed in the 1900 loop back in 08. It wasn't that bad. But it was a long haul for a refill. It will be a change from your stay in the 400 loop last time. What I didn't like about the site we had in the 1900 loop was that my tires and rear jacks were in the sand. So the trailer was not as stable as normal.
ImDownWithDisney 342
I'm trying for 1700 first then.Lone-star,The last time we were in 400 wasn't so good. Not much room at all at that particular site. We had stayed in 400 twice before, and we had plenty of room. As for the sand, I have some 2x10's and some LVL scrap that should work well. I am also going to try a set of scissor jacks just ahead of the tires on this trip. If it works well I am going to mount some there.

DaveInTN 3,247
We looped back into 1900 once. The kids started crying, and the cart began acting funny. I think there's a poltergeist. Or a swamp creature.
