mommy rainbo.....Bo 41
If I have a 7 day unused ticket. Non park hopper. Can I trade it for a 6 day park hopper then make up the difference? Someone is selling a 7 day ticket they didn't use for $250 and I was wondering if it was a good deal. I don't personally know this person so what should I look out for. Thanks
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I'm not completely sure about the first part of the question, but generally if the ticket you want costs more than the one you have, Disney is happy to oblige. They typically will not refund any money, but I'm not sure how all that works in this particular case. I'm sure someone here will know.As for buying a ticket from someone you don't know that isn't an authorized Disney reseller (like Undercover Tourist)...Personally I wouldn't do it. There's no way to know for sure if the ticket is legit to begin with, and actually has the number of days on it as advertised, until you try putting it through the turnstile. And then if it's not, you're stuck. Disney isn't going to make good on the ticket, and you'll be out whatever you paid for it plus the gate cost of buying a ticket once you're there. mommy rainbo.....Bo 41
Thanks Mo. That is partially what I was looking for. I didn't know if there was a way to check a ticket.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Nope, no way to check a ticket except at Guest Services or a Ticket window. They do that on purpose to prevent reselling.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
By the way, Mousesavers prices at Undercover Tourist show a 7 day base ticket at 299.75, and a 6-day hopper at $342.95.So yes, the $250 is a bargain, IF it is good. But you really don't want to take that risk over $
mommy rainbo.....Bo 41
Nope. Not gonna do it. I wasn't sure if there was a way to check them. Thanks all.
caveat lector 181
Good call. I wouldn't risk it either.
