Say what? Who knew?Adorable family having all kinds of fun at the World... check. ;DI love that y'all were able to take advantage of so many of the character meet and greets. Great photos! Big Kahuna aka John 71
Aaron sorry about the Castle meal... I never say anything, but I also thought it was the worst meal I ever had at Disney. It is so hard to get the reservation, and then when we got there I was disappointed much like you. Now Lou's offer is the real deal, not only do you see more princesses, the breakfast is awesome. We still go to this breakfast each time were at Disney. I actually enjoy what is on the menu. YENSIDCAMPER 66
We have never done breakfast at the CRT, but lunch and dinner have been good each time we have been. The experience will be memorable when the food memory is long gone. Thanks for sharing.

DaveInTN 3,247
Holy cow, you were a posting machine yesterday. My first comment is, of course, on your pictures of Ms White. That is one BAAAAD looking Snow. She should have spent a few more minutes in makeup that morning. Secondly...the CRT breakfast food is especially sad if you had eaten it 12 years ago when we first took the girls there. Back then I couldn't get enough of it! They served it family style and it came out hot and fresh. And the cream cheese stuffed french toast was to die for....Z snaps and all. It's a shame they ruined it. But...even with the bad food, you had an AWESOME MK morning! I love the low crowd moments there. Stress free and you get so much done. And you couldn't have paid money for that Merida moment of her leading your daughter by the hand. That's adorable right there. Nice job hitting JC and Tiki Birds on one fell swoop. I like both those attractions. My favorite trifecta though would be Tiki Birds, Hall of Presidents and CoP. I'm not kidding. Oh, followed by the Peoplemover. BAM! Perfect evening. Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Wow, what a great morning you had at the MK!All those posts ought to be enough to convince anyone of the benefits of getting there early!Too bad you didn't get to see BW and her posse meeting with Peter Pan, but that lady with the green hair may have been worth watching:TCD

AC in A2......Aaron 693
2-9-13 (continued)We have arrived back at BLT:DW and DD were going to take a siesta, but DS and I had other plans so we headed back out shortly thereafter:We walked over to the Outer Rim Lounge in search of a TV that was playing the Michigan-Wisconsin basketball game. They were closed. We turned around and headed downstairs to the Wave. I asked the ladies at the desk if they would open the curtain on one of the side waiting rooms and turn on the game. A very nice lady asked me what channel. I told her and she walked right over, opened the curtain, and flipped on the game for us!We sat and enjoyed the game........until it ended with a Michigan loss. A couple very questionable calls cost Michigan the game. I mean horrible. We were not going to dwell on that though; we were at WDW and had other things to do.We walked back upstairs and went for a resort walk:As you can see above, we had to stop at the Pool Snack Bar and Mickey Ice Cream Sandwiches.Continuing to BLT:Bocce ball anyone?Continued in next post.... Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Now that was a nice update!Quality father-son time! Were the TV's not on at the Outer Rim?I've been there before the bar opens, but they still have the TV's on.Nice job on the resort tour. For future reference, the BLT pool bar has a nice TV.TCD
AC in A2......Aaron 693
The slide was being refurbed so we would not be using this pool, but we took some pics near the pool anyway:Moving closer to the rear lobby door:From here we worked our way back upstairs and took some pics of various hallway views:Here we are headed back to our room:Afterward, I took DS swimming at CR for about 45 minutes or so.....he tested the slide and decided he loved it.....so there was much more walking and climbing stairs than there was swimming but it was a good time. Afterward, we headed back to BLT where we had dinner in our room. After dinner we were headed for a resort we had not been to in what seemed like a very long time.... I should have thought about the Cove Bar, but I didn't. Good call for next time.I love hanging out with him and watching games.....he is extremely knowledgeable about sports so it's like watching sports with a peer almost.....except when he whines about needing snacks. No.I guess that's kind of the same as being with a peer too.Who am I kidding. He's exactly like his daddy.

AC in A2......Aaron 693
How come all the trees are in time out? They are bamboo so maybe when they were first planted they were there to keep them from bending to far and snapping?I don't know for sure. I am no bamboo expert. Maybe they are decorative? It actually looks pretty cool when its all lit up at night.
alexwyattmommy 181
Can non-BLT guests see that part?
AC in A2......Aaron 693
Yeah, you can walk around to the rear of the building without any issue. Supposedly you can't get in the pool, but I saw nobody checking anyone's KTTW. You can also get in the lobby without a KTTW card more often than not. I believe the only things off limits to people not staying on DVC points is the Top of the World Lounge and Community Hall.

I believe the only things off limits to people not staying on DVC points is the Top of the World Lounge and Community Hall. The pool is fenced, and there's a locked gate. At least it's supposed to be locked. The BLT pool is not open to guests of the Contemporary Resort. BLT guests can used the Contemporary pool, but not the other way around. As with many "off limit" places at WDW, though, it isn't hard to go in and have a look around.Same with the Lounge and fireworks deck on the roof. Been there done that. NBDTCD

We hitched a ride back to CR.We looked in the shops in CR and then took the sky bridge back to BLT where I noticed the Lion King was playing at the evening movie area:We put the kids to bed and then enjoyed some snacks and these:Nothing like a good ole PBR.
