Waiting for the opening ceremony: Did everyone see Dave's mistress? There is Mary. She is probably thinking, "Look at all those men who have no idea about my rule, just like this idiot standing next to me." First up after "rope drop", another Pachyderm ride: Barnstormer from the top of the Flying Pachyderms: Next up, Mr. Pan's Flight: After Peter Pan, DD decided she wanted her picture taken in front of the limited time magic: It was now time for another Un-birthday party: Continued in next post............. After we got off, we milled about for a minute and look who said they were going to ride: They were going to ride Cindy's ride and weren't sopping for pics so we moved on to Mickey's Philharmagic: Next up a few Tommorowland attractions: Next we headed for the hub because DD wanted to see the castle show. We picked our spot and then DS and I took a short walk while waiting for the show to start: That my FIends is a cinnamon funnel cake and it was delicious. Okay now that the main event was out of the way......we can watch the show: After the show.....here comes the street party: After the street party we head for Adventureland to meet Mr. Sparrow..... AC in A2......Aaron 693 Posted March 27, 2013 Author Report Share Posted March 27, 2013 and here we are at POTC: DS had a meeting planned with a Captain: After the Pirate Tutorial, DS and DW went to Jungle Cruise while DD and I went to the Treehouse. The water wheel was being worked on: After the Treehouse, DD and I needed something to do while we waited: Tangent. During our trip, I noticed Drew Brees was everywhere. Apparently, when the natives flee Louisiana during Mardi Gras, you are required to pack a Drew Brees Jersey. I was telling DW, I could have made an awesome TR just by taking pictures of Drew Brees (New Orleans Saints Quarterback) as he made the rounds at WDW. That being said, I was sort of mad at myself for not recording this information and taking zillions of Drew Brees pics. So. While waiting for DW and DS to return, I decided to people watch and see how long it took to capture Drew Brees on camera. It took exactly 45 seconds: Did you see that?!!!!!! Three Drew Brees's!!! I waited about a second and: Now there are 4 or 5 of them!!!! Drew Brees spawns by himself!!! Holy Crap!!! Then I noticed Mr. Tebow saunter by: Do you think he is jealous that he doesn't multiply like a Gremlin that just jumped in a swimming pool? Just then DW and DS arrived and DS needed his fix: I couldn't resist so I had to get myself a little something also: We took off for the exits so we could get the truck packed up so we wouldn't need to worry about it later that night or in the morning....... We went and saw Mickey again to stay under cover and then walked through the stores on Main Street......where I was struck not once but twice by idiot stroller guy: That's him in the gray t-shirt. I felt something hit my ankle once, but it was so crowded I could not move. A few seconds went by and I felt my ankle rammed by something again. I turned and looked at him and he just stared at me. So, just when you thought there would be no more DBs in this TR......... DBs were running amuck on this trip and I had enough. So I turned all the way around and just stared back at him. He threw up his hands and moved down to another aisleway and stormed off in disgust. "How dare that guy who was surrounded by people not move after I rammed him in the ankle twice with my baby!" Idiot. We soon made it down to Caseys: and decided to fast-hoof it to Hall of Presidents. We watched HOP again and then fast-hoofed it to Haunted Mansion: Then we fast-hoofed it to IASW. After that the rain had eased a bit and we went to the Carousel: Then it was time to see Buzz for one last time: We thought we had the "that guy" routine figured out so we went into the Laugh Floor one last time. The guy directly behind me was picked to be "that guy." FAIL. We will try again, but not on this trip. I grabbed some snacks on the way out for us to enjoy back at our room: It was time to lay our heads down in WDW for the last time this trip. AC in A2......Aaron 693 Posted March 27, 2013 Author Report Share Posted March 27, 2013 2-15-13 We woke up, jumped in the 4-wheel drive sleigh and headed north. A few pics from our trip home: Atlanta's tribute to the Golden Domers: We also followed Captain America for awhile on I-75: That's it. We left WDW at 0600 and were home 17 hours or so later. What a brutal drive. We planned to stop somewhere in Kentucky or Ohio, but once we got to Ohio, I just wanted to sleep in my own bed and so we pushed on and drove straight though. I don't know if I ever want to do that again but my back was killing me and stopping in Ohio would have just put off the inevitable. So we made it home and crashed. I hope you all enjoyed reading along. I am hoping to have another TR for you soon. This one will be quite unique I think. I have a couple details that need to be worked out first to make it happen. I am still a bit worried about the drive. I haven't been able to get to PT as much as I would like the last two weeks. I will need a beer by the time we get there! Not many "are we there yets?" and they always wait until we stop for gas to use the restroom. Of course I would stop if they needed to but so far so good! I am still a fan (despite my harsh anti-Michigan words on the other thread). Looking forward to your Gettysburg TR as we could have easily been at that GG instead of the Fort for Easter.
