The BLT pool slide was being refurbed and DS had to have the slide. Here we are: The kids participated in the pool party games: The kids are watching the CMs do the YMCA: The CMs could not talk them into it. A few pics of the pool area with the resorts in the background: A dad took his eye off his youngling for a few moments and the poor thing immediately had issues in the water. The lifeguard jumped in and grabbed the kid. Of course the dad said the kid was fine and gave crap to the CM. If I could have retrieved my camera in time, I would have added his pic to the DB thread. Here are the professionals taking care of their post incident business: DS arrived down the slide shortly thereafter: After DS me down the slide, the CMs made an announcement that everyone needed to exit the pool for "an unscheduled cleaning." I then did what any self-respecting person would do. I eavesdropped on the CM conversations. Apparently, an adult who had an earlier issue with a CM, claimed to see a "log" in the pool and stormed off. I overheard the earlier lifeguard tell the boss man that the guy was just pissed that she jumped in to help his son, because he felt embarrassed afterward. She said the looking for the "log" in the pool would be a waste of time. However, this is what I saw for the next several minutes: After dipping out several leaves, they went lounger to lounger inquiring as to each guests fiber intake. They needed to know if they were looking for a sinker or a floater. Ok. I made all that gross stuff up. After dipping out the leaves, they declared the pool re-opened. We were already drying off because we had plans. First on the list was to stop and get these: Tonight was my turn to make dinner in our room and then DD had a party she wanted to attend. They are not Portuguese, btw, you spelled it wrong, they are Brazilians that speak a bastardized form of the real Portuguese spoken in Portugal. Notice the correct spelling.European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese are different. I can't understand Brazilian Portuguese. not that I can understand European Portuguese either, but that's besides the point.It's like real Spanish spoken in Spain and the Spanish that is spoken way too much here, but don't get me started. Or as my kids call it, "Jimmy Dean Dinner." After dinner we took the monorail to MK and I took a picture of the EWP barges: When we arrived I noticed a new banner over the railroad tunnels: Then I noticed the crane was completely vertical which blended in better with the spire at the top of the castle. The castle show was about half over when we got to the hub so we watched the show. I mostly watched the guy in the crane bucket: He is almost back on land: I still couldn't believe the dream lights weren't down yet. They must not work on them at night? Of course we had to deal with the usual issues: 1. Ecuadorians cramming behind us right before the parade started and sticking there knees and feet in our backs, arses, etc. 2. Brazilians complaining to CMs that we won't move over to let them sit......excuse me DB....we have been here for over an hour and aren't taking up any more room than what we actually need.....go find another spot rude moron. To the CMs credit, she came over and looked at us and then told the Brazilians to quit complaining or go find another spot. Hurray!! She was my new hero. Then the Ecuadorians made a similar complaint to the same CM. She knew we had been there awhile and that they just crammed there way in. She told them to quit complaining or go find another place to sit. They sat back down for a couple minutes but then stood up and left........but Not before spilling a water bottle all over DDs stroller. I am pretty sure it was on purpose but what was I going to do? At this point I am so fed up with rude people on this trip that I can't see straight. Anyway here is some pics from before and after dealing with the idiots: You can see the rude Ecuadorian behind me on this picture. I had to make her famous after she decided to make a complaint against us and the people sitting to my right. She thought we should move forward so she could have more room after cramming between us and the people originally sitting behind us. If we would have moved forward we would have been off the curb and in the road. Moron. More pics: I love the last float of the electrical parade. Just awesome. You're disappointed I know. This was the first time DD has seen Wishes inside the MK. It was so exciting watching the show through her eyes. She loves the show. Afterward, we hit the Laugh Floor. DW was put up on the screen during Mike's nephew's jokes. She was wearing a black and white striped shirt and Marty made a joke about her having escaped from prison. I died laughing and so did DW and the kids. After Laugh Floor we hit Buzz Lightyear and then headed for the exits. Tommorow we would be headed to the CR for breakfast and on to DHS......
