DaveInTN 3,247
It's a beautiful campground. We've driven through several times but haven't stayed there. My ladies are afraid of the prospect of not having electricity and sewer hookups.
ImDownWithDisney 342
It's a beautiful campground. We've driven through several times but haven't stayed there. My ladies are afraid of the prospect of not having electricity and sewer hookups.I know what you mean. I would like to stay there too. 2 things are going against me, though. 1... They limit size to 35'. My 5'er measures 39'6". Although, I did see a number of sites that I could fit it and the check in lady said just to claim 35'. 2....it is a ways past the convenience of Townsend and not as easy to drive to.We will probably still try it sometime in the future. MandMandMandMandM 31
When I was a teenager we stayed there a few times. I really enjoyed it (even without electricity) The funnest part was locking up all food before it gets dark because of the bears. They'd show up at sunset wanting your dinner! We watched them eat things at others' sites like a whole can of Crisco and bones and whole dinners being fixed.
kampfirekim 260
Great looking campground! Very nice! We are cub scouters so the no electricity is no problem, at least for a few days.
