CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
I won't say the last movie we saw in a theater (the kids were young). Those prices blew me away! I know this is Disney, but REALLY?
kampfirekim 260
Glad you did this! I've been wondering what it was like.We have a small chain around here called Chunky's that does the "sit in comfy seats and eat while you dine" thing and it's pretty cool. It definitely is a little distracting to have servers roaming around during the movie, but it's still a cool experience.Although (thankfully) Chunky's is a good bit cheaper than Disney. Not sure I want to dine at a place called Chunky's. Things are bad enough already. :rofl2:

Carol, you are just encouraging us.LOL!Pee Wee Herman went to an adult theater once.He got caught once. I bet he went more than once. :rofl3:Truer words were probably never spoken.Meka-leka-hi Meka-hi-nee-hooooookaaaaaaay, no comment on all that!AoA looks cool!!! May need to wander over there in Feb. Your fireworks photos are BEAUTIFUL.Thanks!!I hope so!! :rofl2: Good catch!Fiends don't let anything slip!!!I won't say the last movie we saw in a theater (the kids were young). Those prices blew me away! I know this is Disney, but REALLY?Yeah, movie theaters are outrageous expensive. Especially considering 99% of all movies come out on BlueRay/DVD/Netflix within a few months of release, and lots of folks have large screen TVs with decent surround sound at home.I rarely go to the theater, maybe once or twice a year. But I guess plenty of folks still do, or they wouldn't get away with those outrageous prices. Not sure I want to dine at a place called Chunky's. Things are bad enough already. :rofl2:LOL! mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Thursday, December 6thToday is going to have lots of posts and TONs of pictures. What did I do today? I went to Legoland!!! A friend of mine has Ultimate Lifetime Passes to Legoland, and gets so many free admissions per year, and was kind enough to offer them to RADP friends, so I snagged one. A few folks have reported on Legoland, but nobody had done an indepth shoot of the the entire place. It was an awesome day. I was BLOWN AWAY by the entire place. As most of you know, Legoland is at the site of the former Cypress Gardens. I had never been to the original, but I was really pleased of how they combined the new (Legoland) with the old and preserved/refurbished the gardens in what I imagined to be their original style.First off I went looping today looking for empty sites, then ran into Photogal!OK, on to Legoland!! It is about 30-40 miles away from Disney, but a pleasant drive. The first attraction I rode was the Island in the Sky. I was actually a little disappointed cause they made you stay seated and couldn't get any good panoramic shots past the screen mesh. According to the park map, this was a Cypress Gardens original that had been resorted.Photo limit!
