michelb 3
Strange question but when do people take their XMas decorations down at FW? We're arriving on Jan 10th and my kids love checking out all the decorations but it just occured to me that we might be too late (We had initially planned on being there around the New Year but I couldn't get a reservation so decided to change our dates around). mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
The long termers start pulling them down after the first of the year. There might be some folks that are there shorter term and leaving on the 11th or 12th and leave a few up until they leave. But I'm guessing most will be gone.

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Yup, and all the official decorations like the big Christmas tree by Pioneer Hall and all the garland on the trading posts and bus stops comes down right after the first. One year, they took it all down on January 2nd. They don't mess around.TCD
michelb 3
Thanks for the info. That's a shame but I'm sure they'll find other ways to keep themselves amused. Next year I'll have to book further ahead to be able to get a site over the holidays!
