Test Track Grand Reopening December 6, 2012

Disney announced today that the grand reopening of "Test Track Presented by Chevrolet" is scheduled for 12/6/12.

Test Track closed for refurbishment on April 16 2012. As part of the renewed partnership between Disney and General Motors, the Epcot Future World attraction at will be transformed into the "Chevrolet Design Studio at Epcot". The re-imagined attraction will include interactive design and styling workstations where Guests can create their ideal virtual custom concept vehicle. Guests will then board their 6 passengar SimCar for a test drive where they can test how their custom concept vehicle compares in several key areas like Capability, Efficiency, Responsiveness and Power.

The updated post-show area will be filled with special effects and Guests can see how well their car scored. Guests can also explore a Chevrolet showroom featuring the latest models, produce and star in a TV commercial for their concept cars, and much more.

For the duration of the Test Track refurbishment closure, the Soarin' and Circle of Life attractions, both located at Living with the Land, will remain open until 10pm.

Also during this time, the A Cappella group Test Track Allstars will be performing daily near the Test Track pavillion.
