campingmommy aka Kelli 7
I'd give Kenny another call...our dates backup to yours and we got a cart from him when DH called just last week!
Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
We stayed in the 300 at Christmas without a cart. We used our bikes for looping, buses to get to the outpost, and walked to the pool/trading posts/ and marina. It was very enjoyable.
Disney Dawgs 1
I just heard about Kenny. This is a great service. We usually spend half of what our site costs on a golf cart. I love to ride the loops everyday and see other campsites and the RV or campers.
DebbieT11 5
Thought I'd responded earlier.... musta just meant to. <smile>We've rented from Steve in the past with most excellent results. Feel confident that you're doing business with someone honest and that you'll get great service.
Dreamin5 0
We stay on 300 all the time. It's definitely a good location if you end up without a cart. You're right near the playground and dog park and a fairly short walk to the Settlement/Marina area.No worries - you'll be fine! :rofl2:I second this, I'm totally out of shape but was able to walk to the marina just fine, I really love the 300 loop! :rofl2:
Xforce 0
We`ve been debating the cart rental issue and received a quote from Kenny, we are just not sure whether it is needed or not. We`ve requested a preferred (loop 100 or 200) so we are close to everything except for the pool as it appears from the maps. Looping would be fun, but for $500ish not sure it would be that much fun The other option is taking the bikes, which is a hassle loading and unloading from the truck and both kids are still on training wheels. Also our son still has no conception of danger and causes us stress whenever he is on his bike around cars. The pool is a big deal as we in the past spent a couple of hours there to start each day. So as you can see we are torn.
Discamper 394
The pool is a nice 10min walk really no big deal or you could take the bus. There are people staying at the Fort that rent their cart by the hour you my look into that
