fotofx....Steve 34
Looks like many campers have pretty elaborate setups when parked (rugs, chairs, grills, etc.)What is the usual procedure for going to the parks during the day? Do you pack everything up and lock it, leave it out??Have there been issues with unsecured stuff? How about break-ins?Steve
kadancer 82
Once we are set up, we stay set up. Haven't had any problems unless you count a squirrel getting into our screen room and not being able to get out. In June, it seemed as though the security was a bit more "visible" than on our previous trips.
ftwildernessguy 778
I don't leave anything out that I would not want stolen. Just because it's Disney doesn't mean crap doesn't happen.
.....Gary 85
With all our crap, it gets set up once. NEVER had anything missing. Oh I do put the little T.V. inside, temptation and all that you know.
doodlebug....Cherie 461
We leave our chairs out but never anything valuable. Never had a problem either but like Gary said, why leave any temptations out there.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Same here, valuable stuff gets locked up (cameras, laptops, TVs, phones), but chairs, coolers, fans, towels, lights, etc. do not.

AuburnJen 777
I no longer leave food out, even at night. Stupid squirrels.I do leave anything that is not electronic and that is a pain in the butt to take.

ftwildernessguy 778
I believe any crockpot left unattended is up for grabs, at least the contents are. I do have my own spoon.

rdancemom... Pam 113
I believe any crockpot left unattended is up for grabs, at least the contents are. I do have my own spoon. That's the only thing we won't leave out. I'm not worried about FWG and his spoon. What concerns me is the slim chance of a random nut case adding something to the crockpot from his ziplock bag...
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
...unless it's Rita, who apparently has an entire freezer full of deliciousness just waiting for a crockpot to put it in!
Discamper 394
Out of all the years I've been going to the Fort and leaving all of our camping gear out I only had one thing stolen and that was a half a cooler of beer. One friend that spends lots of time at the Fort told me to look by the lake behind the 300 loop he said kids take cooler and go back thier to drink them. I went back thier and there was my cooler and all the beer cans. So I got my cooler back and it was still full of Ice I refilled it and was happy again

mikeymouse1 25
If they really want it a lock won't stop them. But we do put up our valuables and lock up our bikes after watching a Shamrock reunion across the road from us several years ago
