Roller ... aka Ed 351
We'll be staying in a 5th Wheel in March, and have only stayed in the Cabins before this stay. The 1600 or 1700 loops have been recommended. How are they, and do you prefer a different loop?
Otter Spotter aka Debbie 58
1700 is my absolute favorite loop. If I can't get 1700, then 1600 or 1800 are good alternatives. Whatever you do, don't accept a site on 1900. When they filled the low spots a few years ago, they filled them with sugar sand & spread pine needles over top. You will HATE 1900.Do yourself a favor & 5 days out from your arrival date, fax a letter to the front desk and ask to be placed in 1700 loop first, 1800 second, 1600 third. ftwildernessguy 778
I agree with Deb. You can't really go wrong with 1600,1700 or 1800. 1900 was not so great when we were there - each campsite was like a little penninsula - surrounded by water on three sides. We like the 1800 loop - sites seem larger and it's a little more secluded than the 1600 or 1700.
AuburnJen 777
I love  the 1600 and 1700 loops. Most of them are easy to get in and out of. I am more of a fan of the 1700 because they are bigger. The inside section of the 1700 to me is the best. Stay away from the 1900 at all costs. If you see old Lar in 1600 run away. :rofl2:

bigdisneydaddy 9
We were in 1710 at Christmas and loved it, absolutely the perfect site for us this trip. We had enough room for our trailer and truck and a nice sand pad at the rear for the tent our oldest son and GF use.
freshlybarked 4
We have switched from Premium 500 to Full and love 1700. Nice spacing. We were in 1715 this weekend.
CKCK 45
I've only been to FW once, and we were in 1933. It was dry at the time, but I can see how it could be bad when wet. There also wasn't any room on either side for the kids to play. I'm hoping for 1700 next time.
WeCampDisney 3
The 1600, 1700, and 1800 loops are all about the same. We have stayed in the 1800 many times . We like how its a little more quiet and maybe a little less open between the sites. No 1809 is easiest to back in to. No 1809, 1812, 1813 all back up to the canal area which enhances the secluded feel. I rank them first 1809, 1812, 1813. Also, 1825 is very easy to back in to as its in a curve. Its also close to the CS. We always have a GC so the fact that the 1800 is further from the bus stop is not a factor for us. Enjoy that Fiver!

I have stayed in 1706, but not either of the sites you mentioned. Hope you have a GREAT stay. You will LOVE the 1700 loop. I don't think there is a bad site in the entire loop!! raca-roni 0
Thanks for the nice greeting everyone. Any pros or cons on being in the inside or outside of the loop? Anyone going to be at the Fort in Jan or Feb?
doodlebug....Cherie 461
I don't have an opinion on the loop, raca, but I will be there January 29th till February 7th. If you are there then I'd love to meet you! :)
