Lou... 3,118
That shot should be a poster Uhh, it probably was.Todd, where did you find that photo?
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
After stupid er I mean Donnie asked where this was, it bugged me too. I thought it was behind the Christmas Shop, but I couldn't find any photographic confirmation. So I drove to Disney World and looked. Yup, I was right. Here are those buildings as they look today (well, actually, yesterday, August 14, 2013). The Tiana meet and greet would be to the left of the area show in this photo. The CM you see standing there is the line handler. The Christmas Shop back door is to the right: Another mystery solved by TCD. TCD

TCD That must have been quite a long drive, seeing that you had to swing by Tallahasee and Gainesville first to pick up the twins. You are quite the Dad. EDIT: Nevermind....I just saw your cowboy bean update. You really WERE at the World yesterday. I thought this was an old picture and you were being sarcastic. It is good to be TCD. Lou... 3,118
So I drove to Disney World and looked. I'm assuming that you were going to MK anyway, and didn't go just to confirm where that photo was taken?
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
I'm assuming that you were going to MK anyway, and didn't go just to confirm where that photo was taken? Nope. I wanted to find those buildings so I did. Not really. The girls wanted to make one last summer trip, so we did. TCD
ftwildernessguy 778
I just can't imagine all those guys walking around in all that heat and humidity with dark suits on.
DaveInTN 3,247
I just can't imagine all those guys walking around in all that heat and humidity with dark suits on. It's really fine. They were headed straight over to Larry Tate's house for cocktails after this pic was taken.

ftwildernessguy 778
We do have winters.Yeah, I've been there in the winter. You guys are wearing your parkas and those of us from the North are wearing shorts and sandals. Sorry, but it may only be 79 and 70% humidity, but that's not dark suit weather for me. Lou... 3,118
Sorry, but it may only be 79 and 70% humidity, but that's not dark suit weather for me. It can and does get into the 30s during some days just about every year. The average temp during the winter months is 61 degrees.Temps in the 50s for stretches at a time are not that unusual. Looks like Roy had an entourage of them lol.

DaveInTN 3,247
I'm surprised an official Disney site would call attention to RC.

Lou... 3,118
Why shouldn't Disney post pics of RC?It was a very popular, and successful attraction. Nothing to be ashamed of. Disney felt that it was a wise business decision to shut it down, just like they have done with other attractions.
