Wanted to share some of them with you all!We were at the fort in August 1989. It looked considerably different back then!River Country:The view from the skyway in the MK:More to come when Photobucket starts behaving.
AC in A2......Aaron 693
Those are some awesome pics Gwen! The river country pics and skyway pics really took me back. What a great place RC was. I also loved the skyway and 20000 Leagues when I was a kid.

CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Anyone remember Mickey's Birthdayland? I don't, but I have the pics:
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Matthew, our youngest, would kill me for doing this, but in honor of his 31st birthday today here he is in 1989:And here's one of all the kids together:Okay, I could kick myself for not doing any journaling back then. Anyone know where the following pics were taken? I'm assuming they are in Future World. Apparently it is somewhere we ate, the characters performed, and then came around for autographs.David hasn't aged a bit, has he? Yeah, right. And you will see laughable pics of me later. Have to do a lot more scanning.
DaveInTN 3,247
The pic above just makes me sad.Ok, pretty sure I had that Epcot shirt on the left. I visited Epcot around 1988 or so.

kampfirekim 260
These are great photos Gwen! I definitely remember Mickey's Birthdayland. They used to have Birthday cupcakes which my dad LOVED. And he's none to happy about 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea closing either. It's been many years and he still isn't over it. The old Epcot photos with Micky and Minnie in their futuristic garb are priceless. Good times. Now I am feeling nostalgic....

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Oh wow - these are so great, thanks for sharing Gwen!!One thing that stood out for me was the skyway. I hadn't thought about it before, but being up that high you could easily see a bunch of the ride buildings behind the facades. Seems odd that Disney ever wanted anyone too see that. Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
This is a WDW that I have not seen. I missed the chance to ride 20,000 back in the early 90's (i think). Didn't even know what River Country was until I read the TCD report on it. Can't wait to see what you post next!!!
