News! 2012 Candlelight Processional Lunch and Dinner Packages On Sale Now

It’s time!! The Candlelight Processional Dinner Packages are finally on sale!

This coveted ticket provides guests with a lunch or dinner meal at select Epcot restaurants and guaranteed seating to the popular Candlelight Processional holiday spectacular.

At the event, the Christmas story is told by a celebrity narrator while a 50-piece orchestra and choir accompany the re-telling. The event is held on select nights from November 23 – December 30, 2012, in the American Gardens Theatre at Disney World’s Epcot.

Package Details

The package includes your choice of an appetizer, entree, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage or 1 full buffet from the restaurant’s menu. Guests also have access to an special Illuminations Fireworks viewing area.

Prices exclude tax and gratuity, and park admission is not included.

Disney Dining Plan

Guests can use the Disney Dining Plan to pay for the packages.

Standard and Deluxe Dining – 2 table service credits per person for any meal/restaurant

Premium and Platinum Dining – 1 table service credit per person for any meal/restaurant

Out-of-Pocket Costs

If you do not choose to use the Disney Dining Plan to pay, here are the details for costs:

Lunch Packages $32.99–$55.99 for Guests 10+, $12.50–$17.99 for Guests 3–9

Dinner Packages $49.99–$66.99 for Guests 10+, $14.50–$26.99 for Guests 3–9

I forgot to mention that just in case we're home for Christmas, I have a dinner reservation, not the package, on the 23rd at Tutto Italian at 8pm.

So we might be there for Gary's 6:45 performance.

And I selected Gary Sinise for those reasons. I've listened to him speak many times and I know he is a Christian. That is important to me for someone narrating the story of Christmas. The last time I saw it, Steven Curtis Chapman narrated. That was very good.

It's a coincidence that last night as three of us were killing time while waiting to clock out, that we were talking about who we liked at the Candlelight Processional. Gary was the unanimous choice because when he does it, he believes what he's saying. Unlike some of the others that think of it as just another gig at WDW.

It also says a lot about him by he being selected to do it on Christmas day.

I also like Gary Sinise. He came and spoke at one of my events a while back. GREAT guy and truly sincere. It's not just an act. I may have to see if I can wrangle a trip, but I'm afraid he's going to have a giant line.
