Discovery Cove is offering the ultimate vacation for Orlando visitors with the introduction of a new, all-inclusive package. A day at Discovery Cove now includes unlimited admission to SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica water park for 14 days.

“This new offer is incredible for guests because it allows them to explore Discovery Cove for the day and also enjoy SeaWorld and Aquatica during their Orlando vacation, so they can experience the amazing animal connections that all of our parks deliver in their own way.” said Toni Caracciolo, marketing vice president for SeaWorld Parks & Resorts. “It also solidifies the Discovery Cove reservation as a true, all-inclusive package,” she added.

We did Discovery Cove the year it opened. It was quite a bit cheaper then, but didn't include the extra tickets either.

It was a fun time, although the day we went was a bit chilly.

With the extra park tickets (assuming you'd take advantage of them) it's not such a bad deal!

One of the best parts of DC is that they only let a limited number of people in each day so it's never really crowded.

I thought it was always like that. Some friends of ours went to Discovery Cove back in 2004, and it included some days at Sea World. They only used 1 day, cause then they moved over to Disney for the rest of the week.

For the past few years, the deal has been 7 days at either Busch Gardens or Sea World (you had to pick one). And you also had to use the days consecutively, either before or after.

This new deal apparently is for 14 days and includes both Sea World and Aquatica, and you can use them before and after. So they sweetened that part of the deal.

We have done Discovery Cove twice. It's pricey, but it is "worth" it. The park is amazing, and the entry fee includes breakfast and lunch, and snacks all day long. We haven't been since AB sold the park, but when we went, the fee also included all of the AB beer products you cared to drink.

We've done DC before too. It's a great experience but pricey IMO and we did it years ago before the prices doubled. I've booked it a lot for clients thru GOGO and other wholesalers. From the feedback I receive most people don't spend more than a day or two at SeaWorld, if that, so I suspect DC just gained a market share of the publicity without actually increasing value for the average traveler.

The more people they can get into the other parks for more days, the more $$ those guests will spend there. It's definitely a win-win for DC/SW/BG. "All-inclusive" as used above is not truly all-inclusive either. It's all-inclusive for one day, then be prepared to open your wallet at SW/BG/Aquatica. Gotta love that fine print... ::)
