MouseFamilyVacations 10
sad to see snow white go, but I can't say that I will be heartbroken. The ride itself was a bit scary for the younger kiddies in my opinion...
DaveInTN 3,247
I understand the nostagia of an original ride closing, but I always felt it was cheap. Some cardboard cutouts of the queen, a few blacklights, and BAM, you've got a ride. Of course, I'd ride it all day long if faced with a choice between this or Stitch. Tri-Circle-D 2,059
For anyone interested, my local fish wrap had a pretty good article on the closing of the Snow White ride last week:http://www.tampabay.com/features/travel/florida/as-disney-world-closes-scary-snow-white-ride-kids-lose-more-than-memories/1230639I found it interesting that the original design was specifically intended to scare kids, and Snow White's image did not appear in it. According to this article, the current version of the ride, with Snow White, came around in 1994. If that is true, that is something I never knew.TCD
