Getting to Miami from WDW

Hi guys, we are going on a cruise next month. Carnival out of Miami. Is there a way to get there that doesn't have all the tolls. Or do you think the turnpike is the best way to go.

We will be staying one night at ASMo, not the Fort, but you can't have everything :rofl2:

The turnpike is the easiest.  But there are tolls.

You can also work your way over to I-95 and take that all the way down.  It's actually a little faster.  You'll still hit tolls as you work your way East though.

Either way will be a little over 4 hours.  :banana:

That's what I thought. We went that way last November, it wasn't bad just a little boring and then you have to pay for it too :banana:

Not a fan of leaving out of Miami, cause we have a long drive as it is, but I got outvoted :banana: My husband won't fly, how sad is that.

I like going out of the Port of Miami -- lots to look at, on the way out!  You'll drive alongside the highway, and the cars all honk and wave at you!  And, you'll go by Millionaire's Row, with all the big homes!  Then, you'll go by the southern tip of South Beach, where you can see the long line of hotels.

I like the sailing part too, it's the drive down there that I don't like.  It is 1250 miles for us just to get to  WDW, then we have to get in the car and drive another 4 hours. Ughh

I keep checking airfare hoping I can get a price my DH can't refuse. So far no luck. :raspberry: It could be free and he would probably say no.
