BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
from the Disney Food blog... Review: Chocolate Caramel Grapes at Karamell-KücheMay 14th, 2012 by AJ.Epcot's Karamel Kuche Caramel ShopTime to take a look at another new treat available at one of my very favorite spots in Epcot, Karamell-Küche!If you aren’t familiar with this little gem in the German Pavilion of World Showcase, you should get to know it. Soon. Seriously. All manner of buttery, caramelly, chocolate-dipped goodness here leaves me a happy, happy girl.We recently told you about a new addition to the Karamell-Küche lineup: the Caramel Corn Cupcake. Today, we are trying a second new offering: Chocolate and Caramel Covered Grapes. Fruit! Healthy! Hallelujah!Chocolate Caramel GrapesI know. They’re a little…different. But I am all about telling you the latest and greatest, so try them I did.The fresh, red grapes are skewered, then dipped in dark or milk chocolate and drizzled with that yummy, buttery Werther’s caramel.Close-Up Chocolate Caramel GrapesThe grapes were sweet-tart and juicy, and contrasted nicely with the smooth, creamy, rich chocolate and caramel. If you are a fan of fruit and chocolate combinations, you will most likely enjoy this offering, which is a little more uncommon than your classic chocolate dipped strawberries. Folks who don’t appreciate their chocolate hiding something fruity or juicy probably won’t care for the mouth feel or taste of this snack.Cross-Section and Close-Up of Chocolate Caramel GrapesMy thoughts? I liked them. I liked the cross between healthy and juicy, and decadent and creamy. I think these will be good for kids, but be sure to unskewer them first (the grapes, not the kids) if junior will be walking-and-eating.These are also a good between-meal snack that won’t fill you up, but will give you a small-and-satisfying sweet taste. Will you try Chocolate Caramel Grapes at Karamell-Küche anytime soon? polkadotsuitcase 12
I'm not sure what to make of these! I'd be very curious to hear first-hand from a Fiend who's tried them.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I generally love anything with caramel - and chocolate is never a bad thing... and I like grapes, but I'm with you. Not really sure about these. We need a "Fiend on the Scene" report! :)
ftwildernessguy 778
How much are these things? I'll be honest with you, if I am in Germany looking for a snack and there is beer and sausage in the area, I ain't gonna buy no chocolate and caramel covered grapes. DaveInTN 3,247
If there were cherries in there instead of grapes I might be sold more easily.

Brent... Just Brent 83
I've never had grapes and chocolate and caramel. I'm not sure I need to, either. And, hesitantly, I agree with Dave. Cherries, caramel and chocolate sound much better.
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
This does sound like a strange combination!
