DaveInTN 3,247
And why??Personally, I love Thanksgiving at the Fort. The smells of all that food cooking at campsites, the Christmas decorations, the weather is awesome....it's my favorite!
stacktester 78
I voted Thanksgiving even though we have more fun on 4th of July. Thanksgiving weekend was our 1st trip to the fort in 04 and we go every year. We always make it a point to go to different resorts to see the merry go rounds and gingerbread houses and trees. mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
We LOVE Halloween at the Fort!!!
TnBob 311
I voted for The 4th of July, it may be hot but I find it more fun than the cooler times, Thanksgiving and Christmas are great but with GKs its a no go. Spring break is a mob of people who have to be on a mission because it's either their once in a lifetime trip or the only time they can go and it's packed in the parks.Halloween and Labor Day are fun times to go also but we can't take the GKs because of school. H in SC 85
We love to be there on July 4th, it is really a spectacular time for of us. >:D
Keylime359 2
Halloween! 1. It is not summer (except for 09 when it was 90) 2. It is a holiday just about fun. No stress of cooking or present buying 3. The decorations are amazing
BouncingTiggers 98
We love halloween at the fort. The decorations are fantastic, but also the weather is perfect.
Momoffive aka Loretta 34
I voted Halloween, but I think we should all change our votes. It'll get too popular if people start to realize they're missing something.Love Halloween at the Fort. This will be our 3rd Halloween at WDW. First was OS and the last at the Fort. As you can tell by my countdown..... little over 8 months to go. Already started the planning and site layout. It's been a couple of years.
LORNADUCK 261
I also agree with Halloween, the weather usually is cooler, the rates up until this year was value (not any more). It has gotten so popular that they have raised the rates and it is hard to get a resservation. My other favorite is New Year's, but I also love 4th of July -- to hard to pick. ºoºThomasclan85ºoº 8
Even though Halloween is my favorite holiday here at home, I voted Christmas because it's the only time I've been to the Fort plus we all loved the Osborne lights at DHS :worship:
Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
I had to vote Christmas since it's the only holiday we'd been to FW... however, I'm thinking about Halloween. I just have to convince DH of it.
ftwildernessrick 10
It is more "fun" at Halloween, but I love the Christmas time for the music & decorations.
Memphis 105
I voted Christmas but we have never actually been at the fort for Christmas (we've been early December). I'm just a Christmas nut. We have been the last two 4th of July's (Fun but very hot and wet), and the last two Halloween's (Both great trips and a lot of fun) I would just love to be at the fort the week after Christmas but I am just too cheap to pay those prices. HillBillyWhisperer 20
I like St. Patrick's Day...for the Beer. Of course, this Holiday has not really caught on at Disney yet.

Millermouseketeers MaryAnn 150
I love Christmas (except the cold). I like all the decorated campsites! The weather is usually nice just chilly at night.
Ok Grumpy AKA Cindy~~ 9
Halloween is my favorite too! I love the decorations the weather and the trick or treaters! New Years would be my second!
freshlybarked 4
We went the week of Thanksgiving this past year. Had a great time. Enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner out, decorations, weather and meeting up with a few fiends at the beach for fireworks. Great time.

MicknMin...Holly 54
Although I've never stayed at the Fort for Christmas, it gets my vote since it is the most beautiful time of the year to visit WDW. I've stayed at the Fort in October (never for Halloween though ;D ) and I love the decorations. So Halloween is my second choice.
