I've got more photos to download and will try and share some other info I gathered, but here are some pics of our site. Reservations were hard to get and we ended up with a site without sewer, but it was a great site - not super long, but extremely wide. We were on the outer edge of the campground so our site was backed up by a fence, a dead end road, and a really nice house. :)

More pics uploading now.

The facility, buildings and public spaces were beautiful and immaculate. LOADS to do, especially for kids, and a fully fenced, approx. 2 acre dog park.

There were a handful of super cute looking cabins (pics coming) and even a few yurts you could rent that were perched on their own decks alongside the pond.

The place has been around for 40 years and you can really only tell that when you see some of the funky site configurations. There are some really excellent sites spaced out nicely, and others that are just at weird angles to the road and right on top of each other. The place is HUGE and IMO the best sites are the ones along the outer edges that back up to woods.

There are also sections which would be great for camping with a group of people and lots of pull through sites. Some of the sites are large enough that they will allow you to put 2 RVs on one - however they will charge you a 2nd camping fee.

According to friends of ours that have camped there often (and did a seasonal package for all of April-May) they've been updating systems recently too (electric, sewer, etc).

More pics and info to come (then I need to get this all put together and write a review for WeCampHere.com!

Really nice campground but not cheap! They're open year round and have a fair number of seasonal and package deals.

Also no golf carts.

Super easy to get to - just a few minutes off rt 495. Close to Patriot Place/Foxboro Stadium and lots of other stuff to do also.

More pics....

Main recreation building - restaurant, indoor pool, game rooms, upstairs adult only lounge with big screen tv

One of the playgrounds (there are a few)

Pooch Post if you need to tie up your pup for a short while. This one is outside the playground.

One of the 3 pools - there's an indoor heated pool that was open and 2 (3?) outdoor pools that open Memorial Day for the summer. Have to go back and check, but I think at least one of the outdoor pools as heated also.

Large field next to the recreation building.

Yurts for rent. You can's see in the picture, but the decks overlook the fishing pond. The pond is stocked with trout. Fishing is catch and release. Our friends went for a couple of hours with their kids Sunday morning and between the lot of them they caught 6 fish.

View from our site. These center sites were kind of open and on top of each other. There were tall pines scattered about that would be decent for shade, but don't provide any privacy.

View directly in front of our site - this road leads to one of the comfort stations. There aren't a lot of these but I checked out one and the bathrooms were spacious and very clean and the laundry room looked pretty decent. I'd say they were close to Fort caliber.

not super long, but extremely wide.

Sometimes that's all that matters. :dogsnicker:

That campground looks nice! Those are some cool yurts. (I really just wanted to say yurts)

I snagged all the literature they had and will hopefully get around to sharing all that info with you all sometime soon.

It was definitely a VERY nice place... and the price reflected that.

I just found out that a seasonal summer site for 2 adults and 2 kids is $6900!!! And that doesn't include the metered electric.

Ah, such good camping puppies!! Or so you'd think from this photo, but this was taken right after we arrived.

Even though they'd never been here before, it wasn't long at all before they settled into their normal camping routine, same as that Fort.

Which meant....

Brady whined to go in the camper so he could sit in his chair...

Bz whined to come out and hang around on the tie out with us...

and Lyn lay down in the pen by herself and just looked around.

Gotta love 'em!!
