rdancemom... Pam 113
My little trailer has more windows than that behemoth. Must be like a cave inside. That's what I thought when I saw it. Maybe they're in the witness protection program...LOL or perhaps they're from a certain other board and just can't bear to look out the window to see all the snarky signs... :rofl2: Nicki aka Rebelstand

Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo..Karla 77
Hey....yooooo hooooo!!! TCD!!! :wave1:I think we've found some competition for your RMOG award... :jumpforjoy Take a look at this..... :hah: What do you think???Yes, that's a van towing (I think) a car hauler that has a big wooden box on it, then a huge pile of junk (chairs, bottles, car seats, a child's wagon, some sort of table, etc), and then a pick up truck behind the junk!! There were a whole bunch of children's toys by the front of the van. We think they slept in the van as there was no tent or any other sleeping facility visible. There was also no cooking stuff or anything sitting on the table. Just kinda weird!(Sorry for the poor pictures....it was raining and getting dark.)
Brent... Just Brent 83
Is there anything else going on around the Fort, Karla? Any construction? Water main breaks?
Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo..Karla 77
Weeeeeellllllll.....if you really want to know... and since you asked...The 200 loop was closed down a couple days (they were tree trimming) and so was one of the cabin loops (don't know why). Edited to add....the 200 loop is still closed....don't know why...nobody is there doing anything, digging up anything or bulldozing anything down. Then there was the painting and some roof work on top of Crockett's.Oh, and our sewer connection backed up (the Disney section in the ground) as we were emptying the black tank (Trust me....you don't want to see the pictures of that!!) :barf:Other than those, there was no fires, flooding, or other natural disaster that we found. :rofl3:
Brent... Just Brent 83
Thanks for the update! Sorry about the sewer connection, though, that umm, stinks. Glad there are no natural disasters on this trip. I remember last year.
Lou... 3,118
Karla, I have a little investigative project for you. Where are the dump trucks coming out of the Fort filled with dirt, getting it from? mouseketab.....Carol
Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo..Karla 77
Karla, I have a little investigative project for you. Where are the dump trucks coming out of the Fort filled with dirt, getting it from?Where have you seen the dump trucks? We've only seen dirt being trucked out from the Four Seasons project.Of course, being rule respecting guests we wouldn't venture into the off limits, cast members only areas. But if we hear of something we'll be sure and let you know. Then again, since you know we're gone so much, we may never find an answer for you!

Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo..Karla 77
Today was the official opening of the Merida (from the new Disney/Pixar movie "Brave") meet and greet area. We were fortunate to be in the right place at the right time and got invited to meet Merida. Here's the entrance...When they open the gate Merida is standing there waving you to come in...Here's Merida as she tells a little story about waking up her bears (the ones behind her)...And my little prince getting to meet Merida....Next you follow the line down to an area where they show you how to shoot with a bow and arrow. One shot per child! Then you move to the table in the center to color a picture of Merida and her horse...This is the coloring picture...Then you're done. Takes 5-10 minutes depending on how much time you use coloring.Entrance is limited to about 25 kids each time and it appears as if there are about 10 - 12 meet and greet times each day. Here are some shots of the outside....And of course there is the obligatory cart selling Merida/Brave stuff....We spent a lot of today in MK....attendance is getting heavier as the holiday approaches and the kids start getting done with school. The Fort is filling up for the weekend again. Star Wars weekend is also bringing in higher attendance. Except for the rain which canceled the parade, it was a good day! ^-^

ftwildernessguy 778
The RMOG award winner has one pretty unstable situation with that pick up behind the axles on the trailer. Hope I never meet this clown on 95. Merida's bears kind of freak me out.
