Live4FW 30
Just saw this in the local news.http://www.ajc.com/travel/starbucks-to-open-on-1424190.htmlKinda mixed feelings.
ftwildernessguy 778
I find Starbucks too strong. Tastes like they burned the beans. I hope opening at the studios doesn't mean they will no longer sell at my favorite coffee stand there.
North7... Jeff 2
I guess that probably ends any chance of a Tim Horton's opening in Epcot at the Canadian Pavilion. :'( Canadians love their Tim's coffee and there had been a lot of talk about opening one in the Canadian pavilion but I'm guessing most of that talk was based on wishful thinking rather than any solid facts, as is usually the case. :rofl3:
AC in A2......Aaron 693
I prefer Dunkin Donuts coffee first and Tim Hortons second. Not a fan of the Starbucks.
BRDof3...Rob 40
It would be interesting to order a Starbucks coffee at WDW. It's not often you travel hundreds of miles to get a $10 cup of coffee.
DaveInTN 3,247
If a Timmy Ho's were to open in the Canadian pavilion I would never make it to the other 3 parks. I won't be hitting Starbucks at Disney unless I have a headache and need a caffeine fix. And then the only thing I can stomach there is the Americano. The regular brew isn't to my taste. J&J Adventuring..Julia 22
I welcome anything that is not Nescafe. That stuff is HORRID! However, I wish WDW would open their own brand of coffee shops. There is a TON of possibilities with that. Pixie Dust Roasted.
alexwyattmommy 181
They sell their own coffee in cans and little bags. It only makes sense to brew and sell it. I bet they would sell more of it if people knew what it tasted like.
ftwildernessguy 778
Starbucks is another example of brilliant marketing. I know very few who really like it without polluting it with flavors and cream. Their advertising has convinced the masses that the movers and shakers in society all are willing to pay a ridiculous price for a really lousy cup of coffee, so if you want to be one of them, you will too. BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I wonder if these will replace the Joffey Coffee Carts? Those actually do have good coffee, but there aren't too many around.
ftwildernessguy 778
Or the Writer's Stop at the Studios - easily one of the best cups of coffee on property.
AC in A2......Aaron 693
I hope we can still get coffee elsewhere and are not going to be held captive by the Seattle cartel!
Retired & Tired (Judy) 90
I am not fond of Starbucks Coffee at all.

mikeymouse1 25
Hope this dose not open the door for other outsourcing of park business. They tried this with Macdonalds and the fry stands
