BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
From WDW Magic. It's pretty much the same script, just with a new voice. The hilarious part is they kept the clip in there of the old guy saying "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor mantenganse alejadro de las puertas" :rofl2:VIDEO - New audio spiels on the Walt Disney World Monorail systemApr 17, 2012 This past week saw the introduction of new audio spiels on the Walt Disney World Monorail system. Lou... 3,118
Why was it done in Spanish in the first place? The original guy also does all the spiels on the buses, man am I sick of hearing his voice, and none are in Spanish.Same with the boats, no Spanish.English only, as it should be. Onkel Hans 25
The first announcer was Jack Wagner, known as "the voice of Disneyland." His voice is also found in the monorails at Orlando International, I believe. After hearing his iconic warning to stand clear of the doors so many times, I have become a big fan. My wife suggested I get a haircut like Jack Wagner once; I was pleased till I realized she meant the soap opera Jack Wagner.Jack's son Mike's voiceovers are found at Disneyland Paris. Lou... 3,118
This is a true story. About six months ago, a bus was parked underneath the MR beam near the bus dispatch booth at MK and as the MR went over it, a part fell off it and hit the bus.Was it payback? mouseketab.....Carol
DaveInTN 3,247
Was it payback?Regardless, should the fact that parts fall off of monorails be concerning?

Momof6....aka Marty 769
Regardless, should the fact that parts fall off of monorails be concerning? :eek:It was my understanding that someone ohana'ed on the monorail that day. It was never confirmed whether it was the blast of the ohana or the people banging on the doors begging to get out that caused the monorail to lose a piece. Also, the offender was never apprehended, but many of the survivors mentioned a man in a "Free Melvin" T shirt. BradyBzLyn...Mo
