AuburnJen 777
Well folks, not many people have seen what the old Cypress Gardens has turned into, but you will see now. All my pictures did not upload to Photobucket, but I will get in as many as I can as fast as I can. We used a day trip on Good Friday as an incentive for the son to behave in school and it worked so we were off to Winter Haven to see the sights. It also helped that both Chris and I got in free. :jumpforjoySo after about two hours of stopping here and there to use the restroom, (we did not have the RV, so we had to stop :argh:) here we were pulling up to the parking area.We get out and start walking up. Note to self, bring $12 for parking. They take debit cards though. We took lots of pictures outside the gate for yall to see.Ticket booth.Main ticket entrance. I like theirs better than Disney because they just scan your barcode. But I am all for not standing in line either. AuburnChris

AuburnJen 777
As you walk in, there is a huge dino made of legos.Other sorted things as we walked to get our annual passes from our vouchers. Did I mention Chris and I got free annual passes? (Picture is later.)We get to the pass booth and go in. I took this picture for Mo to post. We came back and got CJ's annual pass at the end of the day. Here is my annual pass! :jumpforjoy
AuburnJen 777
By this time, the son wanted some lunch, so we headed into the restaurant across the street, which the picture was just posted of. It is all ala carte and had really good food. The kids, of course, could play with Legos inside. And we got a cinnamon apple muffin which was out of this world. The yogurt that had the strawberry glaze in it was a little too sweet for my taste, but it was ok. CJ had chicken fingers and apples/grapes.
AuburnJen 777
We then headed on, passing by the double decker carousel, which I thought was really cool. And we had to have our pictures taken with the Dark Side.More pictures of the carousel. And they have these french fried apples. We vowed that we would come back and try them, even if they were $4.99 for a serving.

AuburnJen 777
Ok, I am back now. Had to go to Walmart. That place was a zoo.Back to yesterday. We decided that the apple fries were going to wait because we had finished our light lunch of yogurt and strawberry glaze and that wonderful muffin. So, we headed to the kingdoms. There was an hour and a half wait for the roller coaster so we said, nah, next time and on we went.On the other side of the kingdoms was the Miniland, where they had constructed to scale models of cities. I was thoroughly impressed, so was the son and Chris. We stayed here for a LONG time, even through the five minute shower. This was a pirate battle, to scale.St. AugustineMiami BeachKennedy Space CenterDaytona Speedway
