mikeymouse1 25
My lil bro will be at the fort next weak I'll get his report on it. As for north of Tallahassee I have never seen them worse than this spring and we don't even have any rain water to produce them
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
They're biting in GA, so I'm betting they are there too.
Roller ... aka Ed 351
how well they are biting depends upon your bait and/or choice of lures. The tackle you use can be important, also ... oh, wait. That's for fishing :rofl2:
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
If you're bringing your pooches, keep an eye out for bites on them too.We had horrible deer/green flies at our camp in Maine 2 summers ago and that ate up poor Bz something terrible.Poor thing had horrible welts on her belly and her entire face swelled up.Luckily we had Benadryl with us. We gave her one and the swelling went down in about an hour.We haven't experiences yellow flies in FL but they sound pretty similar - hurt like a you-know-what when they bite, then itch like crazy (at least on me)
itch 5
Did someone say Itch . Benadryl does nothing to me ,,,,

AuburnJen 777
The last time I got bit by those #$%@^#$%& flies, I had welts for three months. I don't like those things at all.
Kimski 2
Tried to post this earlier, but it doesn't seem to be here in the thread, only been here a couple of days and have not seen any yellow flies or mosquitoes, but I have plenty of bites. Something is biteing the heck out of us when sitting out at night, and bug spray seems to only help minimally, they are either too small or too fast, cause I keep slapping and can not come up with a body.
