Lil Lisa 53
Yay! Another TCD trip report! You made my day! We have never made rope drop. Not only does Bruce hate sleeves in the summer, he hates getting up early on vacation.
mgsmom 9
Yay on rope drop!! We made it last year, and it was really cool! I wonder how you get to be that lucky "family of the day"??I love how Twin #1 walked with Chip! It's funny - when I was 16, I would have been just like Twin #1. Now that I'm... well, older... Millermouseketeers MaryAnn 150
Nice trip report! Thanks TCD! My 18 & 16 yo are like your twins. The 18 yo will walk with Chip & Dale. The 16yo, no way. I am anxious to hear how the college tour went. This gives me some ideas for college tours vis Disney.
ImDownWithDisney 342
Huzzah! Another TCD TR! I am also downwiththecinnamonrolls! We had one back in Nov....it was so good I had to make mention of it in my TR. I also did the "college visit" trip back in high school. Me and a few others were supposed to visit a college in Maryville, TN, but instead we partied in Gatlinburg. We got in a little bit of trouble for that.

I have to say I am more interested in cowboy butts, than chipmunk butts! It's kind of exciting to find out which way the girls will decide to head for college!

Grumpy and Grandma 740
Maybe they can give free wi-fi to site 617 sorta like a consolation prize. You might get lucky and pick up the signal from the Meadows TP. I've picked it up at the pool.
DaveInTN 3,247
Wonder if Bob will be able to pick it up at his site. Makes that a "Super Premium" site now.

TnBob 311
Now a question about Wi-Fi, wonder if any campsites have a signal reach them. Someone needs to go scouting using a GC and smart phone. :heart:Bob is disquallified from scouting since:1. He dosen't have a smart phone.2. If he used his GC, it would take AGES to complete the task. :hah:Ya know I am reading this! :argh:Ironically, where Bob likes to stay on the 600 loop is probably one of the areas where you would be most likely to pick up a signal from the Meadow Trading Post.I'll have the TCD twins check on this matter the next time we stay at the Fort.I will be waiting with baited breath for the report, thank you Andrew

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Yay! Another TCD trip report! You made my day! We have never made rope drop. Not only does Bruce hate sleeves in the summer, he hates getting up early on vacation. Well, there is an exception to every rule.Y'all ought to try rope drop once.My personal fave is Hollywood Studios. But, from what I've heard, they have recently done away with the opening ceremony there.Yay on rope drop!! We made it last year, and it was really cool! I wonder how you get to be that lucky "family of the day"??I love how Twin #1 walked with Chip! Sign me up for a character escort!!! :heartsmiley:Yeah, I don't know how they pick the family of the day.I'm sure it must be some castmember's job to do that.At Epcot, they have a mock-up of a Test Track car that the family gets to ride in all the way to Test Track. That is pretty cool.Nice trip report! Thanks TCD! My 18 & 16 yo are like your twins. The 18 yo will walk with Chip & Dale. The 16yo, no way. I am anxious to hear how the college tour went. This gives me some ideas for college tours vis Disney.I will be giving a brief report on our college tour, so stay tuned.Huzzah! Another TCD TR!I am also downwiththecinnamonrolls! We got in a little bit of trouble for that.I'm down with cinnamon rolls, too. This college tour business is new to me. We didn't have such a thing back in my day. From what I can tell, universities have over built, and they now have to market themselves to students (or actually, to their parents).Never done rope drop! I am glad we have clarification on the "butt experts" both cowboy and chipmunk! I have to say I am more interested in cowboy butts, than chipmunk butts! It's kind of exciting to find out which way the girls will decide to head for college!Stay tuned.I do have a cowboy butt photo.I didn't take it on purpose, I swear. But since I have it, I'll share it.That won't be coming up until near the end of the report.Somebody let KFK know.considering you don't know who is in those chipmunk outfits (it was girls the last time we went to the campfire)... I'll stick with the cowboysPlease see the cowboy butt comment above. You might get lucky and pick up the signal from the Meadows TP. I've picked it up at the pool.Well, there you have it.The word from our man in the field. If you got a signal at the pool, then I am sure that you could also catch a signal in the first part of the 600 loop.Wonder if Bob will be able to pick it up at his site. Makes that a "Super Premium" site now. That's true.Although I am anti-600 loop, I wouldn't mind one of those first lakeside sites.I will be waiting with baited breath for the report, thank you AndrewNo problem, Bob.BTW, I am familiar with the saying, but what the heck is baited breath? Are you going to eat some of your bait?TCD
