parrothead7368 aka Norm 101
Norm- Believe it or not, I know exactly how you felt when it struck you how much fun your girls were having there with Woody and Jessie. That magic feeling is what brings us back to WDW again and again. A lot of people don't get it, but I think all of us here do!You are doing a great job on your report.Take your time, and continue to do what you are doing. You will really have a very nice report when you are done.TCDThanks, I don't know how you have done 12. My wife saw mine and said how comprehensive it was, than I showed her one of yours and all she could say was, "Oh!"Great update and pics!!! Wow, ya'll had a full day!!!We actually had a few of those, but definitely worth it and fun.Best Regards,Norm

TCD just has a special talent for writing trip reports (and I may be a little biased :) ) But you have two gorgeous little girls that make your report just as good, even if you didn't narrate at all. The smiles on their faces is what Disney is all about. Keep it up!

parrothead7368 aka Norm 101
Ok, Day 3 was a special day for the girls, because they were going to the Princess Breakfast at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. We also had a special night planned as well, so we had to have a quick trip to Epcot and than back to the campground for a rest. Well, we all know nothing goes as planned, and since we were in Disney maybe the most magical thing will happen and we will get through the day and night without any problems. We got to Epcot first thing in the morning. We than proceeded to here...but first I had to get a few Fastpasses for Test Track. I had to do it since we were in Epcot didn't we, don't want to waste the money, plus it's just one ride. Right??Since we had a little wait, Claire decided she wanted to try and be a viking.and we waited some more...Than it was time to go in. They first got their picture taken with Belle...and since we get two complimentary pictures since there were 5 of us, Anne informed me that Belle was her favorite character and wanted a picture too..Than breakfast was served and along came Mary...Snow White....Than Claire's favorite princess came along and she was awestruck.Cinderella gave her a little kiss and left her a little souvenier on her cheek....Ariel came along, and it was time to go.Breakfast wasn't bad, but I would have rather had the breakfast items on a buffet instead of family style. While we were waiting for Cadence and Granny, Claire wanted to take our picture. She is actually pretty good with the camera for a 3 year old.We than headed for Test Track to use our fastpasses, but first it was a stop in Mexico. We did Test Track, and since we were in the area, we headed over to Turtle Tallk with Crush and The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Just a couple more rides, what's another hour? After the rides, we checked out the Bruce's Shark World and as you can see, I am not good at hiding in a picture.Well, we heard that Sleeping Beauty was in France, and it was still early, so we headed that way. But before we got to France, I found England and Bass Ale. Uh oh, this day is going to get longer I think.Well, we made it to France, and found Marie. Now besides Herbie, I love The Aristocats and Marie is one of MY favorites so it was picture time for Daddy and she gave me a kiss...Anne found the frozen cosmo stand....and the girls found Aurora...So we made it this far, so why not go all the way around. We did snack our way around, so it wasn't all bad.Than we got to Germany and Anne snuck this picture as I was making a major life decision. What beer shall I have. I will say this, every beer I had in Epcot was ice cold, thumbs up for that.We than made our way to leave finally, but we ran into Duffy Bear.Claire was cute and walked right up to him and said Hi Duffy Bear, I'm Claire Bear...and she got a kiss.and we now have a Duffy Bear in our stuffed animal collection. Claire sleeps with it every night, she loves her Duffy Bear. Finally we started our trek to the buses to head back to the Fort. My light day turned into a full day and we still had MVMCP that night. Please nap when we get back, please. When we did get back, we found we had had a visitor. How exciting, we got spiked!!!Thank you very much to TCD, Lou and anyone else for getting these collected and distributed to the Fort Fiends. This is truly a very special memento of our trip to the Fort. I have plans for it, and as soon as I get the project done, you guys will be the first to see it.Well, that's all the time I have for tonight, so I will finish the Day 3 night activities tomorrow. Thanks for hanging in there with me.Best Regards,Norm

I'm sorry your Dad is not there to enjoy this time with your girls. I know he would be proud of you for doing such a great job with them!

parrothead7368 aka Norm 101
Ok, sorry about the time in between, but somebody threw a holiday in the middle of my week, I am still doing leaves and I am trying to put up the Christmas lights outside. So I have a packed full day and lately night.Anyway, we were headed back to the camper to hopefully get a nap before heading to MVMCP that night. We got back around 3 and luckily Claire fell asleep for a couple hours and Cadence laid in her bed. After getting everyone up and going, we ended up getting over to the Magic Kingdom around 6:30.As we got there, the snow was falling. They say kids say the darndest things, how bout do the darndest things....A shot of one of the light poles and other sights. My mom is scooting away in the lower left corner. We waited for the parade to start and caught snow flakes. The parade started......and the girls were excited.....We got these shots.....and we ran out of space on our memory stick!Anne ended up recording the rest of the parde on our pocket video camera, so it wasn't all a loss, but now I had to spend a ridiculous amount of money in Disney for a new memeory stick. After the parade the fireworks were going to start, so I had an idea to find some characters for autographs. Tinkerbell and friends had 1 person in line so we jumped in there, and than the camera's batteries died, so no pictures. Boooooo. Than we found Jasmine and the Genie and all was good with the camera. YAAAAAAYand yes, I'm looking where you think I'm looking...at the Genie's shoes! All I can say, is Jasmine is a beautiful princess. The fireworks were done with and the crowds came back so we found a couple rides to do. The girls and Anne did the teacups 3 times in a row.I took the girls on the Tomorrowland Speedway and they both got their licenses, and were very excited about it..Claire started to get goofy, so we decided it was time to end the long day and head back to catch the boat.It was another exhausting day, but once again no meltdowns for children or parents. The next day is our last full day there, so we get to sleep in a little and we are headed back to the Magic Kingdom for some more fun.I have my 25th high school reunion tonight so I'll update again probably Monday. Thanks for sticking with me.Best Regards,Norm
doodlebug....Cherie 461
First let me say, Main Street is the only place I am happy to see snow falling. :rofl3: Looks like you had a great evening, any time there are no melt downs it's a great day, and yours looked awesome! PureTcrazy...rita 380
I'm glad you were able to get a new memory card! Would you repeat the MVMCP?
stefa70 205
Norm, I'm sure you couldn't help yourself. After all the Genies shoes were quite smooth & tight. :)I don't envy you when those girls get older, you've better get a big stick to fight off the little boys.I especially love Claire getting goofy! That's more than a good reason to spend a fortune on another memory stick.
parrothead7368 aka Norm 101
I'm glad you were able to get a new memory card! Would you repeat the MVMCP?I think we would. It definitely isn't worth the price they charge, but we all had a good time, the snow, shows and smaller crowds were a plus as well. A big thing, is to get there at 4 and get the most for your money. Next time, we would do an off day and go to that in the evening starting at 4.Best Regards,Norm
