PureTcrazy...rita 380
I wanted to chime in here with some pictures I took of Edward and Give Kids the World. I'd also like to join Edward in thaning the Fiends that donated to GKTW through his run!I didn't realize the families stayed in houses. I would think that makes it very nice for them to have the comfort and room of a home. It must be so difficult to see your child's name on one of these signsI just want to take a minute to say how proud I am of Edward for doing this 5k! This was him 1 1/2 ago, walking at Relay for Life just 3 weeks after he got out of the hospital! He's come a long way! I am proud of his insanity determination to do the 1/2 marathon in January! It must be so difficult to see your child's name on one of these signsNot really, because the child has to be healthy enough to qualify for the trip. They're either in remission, recently cured, or have stabilized. So if they can make the trip, it's generally a very happy time for the child and family. The child has to have a life-threatening illness, not a terminal one. There are times when a wish is granted because a child's time is very limited and they make an exception in those cases. More than once has a child passed away while on one of these trips. Although we're prepared for it, it's still a very sad time at the village when it does happen.I just want to take a minute to say how proud I am of Edward for doing this 5k! But he is wearing purple socks long before FF.Net was born.

But he is wearing purple socks long before FF.Net was born.Relay for Life's main color is Purple. We were actually doing an event called "Purple on the Square!" I was very involved with that organization until I found out one of their CEO's makes $80,000 PER MONTH AND ANOTHER MADE $40,000 PER MONTH. I understand that it is a large organization and you have to pay someone to take that job, but that is ridiculous! That was my bad, I should have done my homework. Live4FW 30
Great Report Ed! I am eyeing your transformation as a motivator for myself. I need to get active and I love the way you seemed to have changed your health in a very short time.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
So sorry to see your report over Ed. Yep, pulling through that gate with the TT behind you is sooooooo depressing. That's one reason we've made it a point to do one little thing at a park when pulling out. It lessens the blow!!
