Laura 17
  Well, we leave next week and are sooooo excited! I hope we get to see some of you there. I have no sign made up except for the old Green one with Musket Mickey-SORRY! Nothing like vacationing during our busy season at work I think I asked this last year, but even though I searched I cannot find the answers I got-and last year we did not get a 12 volt freezer. Now, we are traveling with a crowd to feed and I am freaking out as our fridge/freezer in our bus is quite pitiful.Do any of you have a 12 volt freezer you like? If so what brand do you like? I found a Dometic one but is is $800.00 *gulp* I am not against spending that much but would really like an opinion before I do that.Any suggestions?Thank you in advance, and I can't wait to see you all!Laura :wiz:
bigdisneydaddy 9
are you talking about the kind that you install in an RV and run on 12v and propane ? I have never seen nor heard of a freezer that would run solely on 12V

Grumpy and Grandma 740
We've got the Norcold version, it's 32 yrs old and still running strong. One of the best things we've ever bought. The only thing I had to do was repaint it..
LONE-STAR 370
Arb makes one that I have been thinking about buying because they have a very low amp draw. Plus you can use it as a freezer. http://www.arbusa.com/Products/Fridges/20.aspxhttp://www.amazon.com/ARB-10800472-Fridge-Freezer-Quart/dp/B002Q1INDM
