A Fiendtastic DREAMY Cruise!! and Chillin in the Big Easy

OK, Today was our Castaway Cay day.

Here are some views from our verandah early in the morning

We started the morning sleeping in and then since we were in our swimsuits, I wanted to ride the Aquaduck while the lines weren't long. So we got up and headed up there!! That was soooo much fun.

We then went onshore and went to the adult beach.

First was a stop for the ship picture

Rick took his ECV and I walked. That was a LOOOONG walk. It was hot, not much shade, and I was wearing water shoes which were NOT made for walkin.

We got as far as the bar on the adult beach and that was the extent of where Rick's ECV could go.

I wandered on the beach a little bit, but the sand was hard to walk on. Nothing like Cocoa Beach.

We bumped into Lorna, Melissa & Marty, and our friends David and Buff, and had lunch at the Barbecue near the adult beach.

We then started heading back. This time Rick took the shuttle back and I drove the scooter. We got off at the shops area and wandered some, and ran into Jenn and CJ

We decided we had enough of the heat and bright sunshine and headed back on board.

Rick wandered around the ship and did some shopping, and Jen, CJ, Lorna, and myself wandered around the pool. I think Lorna ran off to finish her payroll. (Work stinks sometimes).

CJ and I swam in the pool, and we rode the Aquaduck!!! He was a great ride partner, and it was a big accomplishment for him.

We also went to Tow Maters Grill and got a big order of French Fries to stave off the afternoon sugar low!!

Coming next, Pirate night for dinner!!! Arghhh!!

With that much food and 7 day cruise, I will gain 25 pounds!

Omigoodness. That is a lot of food. I can see myself now, walk on to the boat...bring in a crane to get me off when we get home. :rofl2: Seriously, thanks Carol. I always wondered about how all of that worked. You know food is important to my bunch and we like to taste everything, I wondered if you could order more than one item if you were really hungry or if you could eat at two different locations. Sounds AUsome!

Time for Pirate Night!!

Our dinner was at Enchanted Garden. We skipped the show this evening as it was the same comedian at the adult show the previous night and was a "family" version of his show. The adult version was hilarious, and wasn't sure how it would be family style. Plus we were running around the pool and exploring the ship and didn't want to stop.

All of the servers were dressed in pirate gear and the menu was pirate themed

After dinner was the pirates show.

We decided to avoid the crowds and watch the fireworks from the verandah. A few fiends joined us. (Forgot to pull out the camera).

They actually asked those on the starboard side of the ship to stay off their verandahs during the fireworks, but we decided to chance it!!

Morning folks, it's time for a BEAUTIFUL Sea day!!!

The morning started out right with these sunrise pictures!!!

I had to do a load of laundry and Rick was sleeping in, so I took the opportunity to wander the ship and get some pictures from around the ship.

Ok, I finally got us some clean drawers, and got Rick out of bed and we went up to Cabana's for a late breakfast. We ran into Lorna, Jen, and CJ just finishing breakfast, and after breakfast we wandered to the Buena Vista Theater for Bingo!!

(Forgot the camera again). It was a lot more expensive than I pay for bingo at home, but still fun. In addition to the bingo prizes, they also have random drawings using the KTTW cards that purchased Bingo cards. We Won!!! We got a couple of pictures from Shutters!!

After Bingo it was back to our cabin for more relaxin and Lorna, Jenn, and CJ dropped by!!

(Note above, this was the only picture of our door decorations!!)

Rick wandered off shopping, and CJ took a nap on the floor of the cabin :-)

We ordered some Mickey Bars as a snack from Room Service. We just ran our mouths and enjoyed the company.

We also got some nice "at sea" shots from the verandah

A little note here. "Somebody" maybe CJ, (or Lorna ) got chocolate on our bedspread from the Mickey Bars. When we got back after dinner, Goodluck had actually changed our linens!!!!!

We then wandered up to D Lounge for the final Bingo session

After Bingo, once again got dressed for the show and dinner.

Tonight's show was Disney's "Believe"

Here are a couple of shots

Now, before dinner instead of relaxing on the Verandah, I wanted to go to the lounge "Pink" and try some of their ship exclusive champagne.

So, Lorna, Rick and myself went over there

The experience was fun, but the champagne was a bit dry for my taste

Then it was off to dinner at Enchanted Garden

We got some fun pictures with our servers

And I got a picture of some of the group

Now after dinner, we attempted to get a group picture with one of the ship photographers in front of Admiral Donald. They had been set up there every night of the cruise......

But of course, the night we arranged it, they were doing something else instead

They were doing a character farewell celebration

So we settled on moving to the mural in front of the Walt Disney Theater and got some guests to take pictures for us with our cameras

After the group picture, we all went our seperate ways, Rick went on to bed, and Lorna and myself and maybe a few others, went to the adult show again. Taylor Mason is hilarious!!!!!!

Oh, and somewhere in that day and evening, I took care of the tips for our room host and our servers, and we packed up for departure the next day. They leave special tags in your room to place on your "checked" luggage to help you find your stuff in the customs building

A couple more stories to tell. As I was getting ready for bed, I was taking off my ear rings and one of them was MISSING!!! These were not cheap earrings either. I tore the room apart and never found it. I took a quick chance and went to guest services with the remaining earring and it was there!!!!!!! WHEW!! It scared me to death.

In all the packing warnings and debarkation videos they caution you to make sure you leave out a change of clothes for departure day, so you are not leaving the ship in your pajamas!! Well we did the opposite, I left out a change of clothes, but packed the pajamas!!!!!!!! So a last minute trip to the ship store!! I now have a pair of cruiseline pajama pants and we both have some Cruisline Sleep Shirts!!!!!

Well, nighty night, tomorrow, our last breakfast and leaving the ship.
