BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
From WDW Magic... Monorail changes for Magic Kingdom Extra Magic Hours begin today Aug 01, 2011 Beginning today, the Magic Kingdom express and resort monorail will stop operation 1 hour after regular park closing. This means that the monorail will not be able to return guests back to their resorts after evening Extra Magic Hours. Guests will instead be transported by bus and boats where available. Morning Extra Magic Hour service has not been affected. All indications are that this is a permanent change. Epcot introduced the same change last month, and stops operation 1 hour after regular park close.
Lou... 3,118
Just like at Epcot, I don't think anyone will notice. Oh no, but the Monorails are so cool. They un-retired a bunch of recently retired buses and put them into service just for the Epcot runs. I'm guessing they might do the same for MK. Roller ... aka Ed 351
As long as the boat is still running back to The Fort from MK, I'm good.
Judy in Texas 150
If I've driven and parked at the Ticket and Transportation Center, then is my only option the boat? I've not ever noticed a bus from MK to T&TC.
