freshlybarked 4
As some may know my husband is a photography nut. He shoots pictures at dog events for profit and shoots Disney pictures for fun. Here is a picture he took during our last weekend trip. We ate lunch at the Polynesian. What do you think? I'm having it enlarged and was going to mat and frame for home. Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo..Karla

.....Gary 85
That is too cool, it looks like a painting. HOW??
freshlybarked 4
Rick has a program for HDR photography. Something about High Dynamic Range Imaging. You take 3 or more pictures using different bracketing (under exposed, regular and over exposed) and you merge them together taking the best parts of each one then you play with colors and intensity. That's the sum of my knowledge, but it made a great photo. He is just starting to get into photography on a more professional basis and I encourage him to do more with landscapes, etc.

Judy in Texas 150
I love HDR photography. My niece and her husband are into it and have created some lovely pictures. What application is he using?
freshlybarked 4
I think it is Photomatrix, but he just got it so I'm not 100% positive. He was using a free one before, but the results were not a dramatic.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
I'm thinking that's FANTASTIC!!I'd recommend finding someone that can print it on canvas - then it would really look like a painting. :)
freshlybarked 4
Since Rick does photography for dog events, we have a printer capable of doing canvas rag. I'm going to do a wall of his best.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
That's gonna be one heck of a wall!!! :)
BouncingTiggers 98
That is simply fantastic. I love it.
Judy in Texas 150
Has Rick tried taking one picture, stepping in both + and - instead of having to take 3 different pictures?
freshlybarked 4
Judy, the setting on his camera is bracketing. It takes all three in rapid sequence, +, regular and - with the click of the shutter. I don't know much else about it. He is the picture taker and I'm the camera bag holder. I'm the woman behind the man, literally.
