devores 382 Posted July 16, 2011 Report Share Posted July 16, 2011 As a part of ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" salute to Military Veterans, Magic Kingdom® Park is honoring a veteran with a custom flag retreat on Sunday, July 17. The enhanced flag retreat features a procession of servicemen down Main Street, U.S.A., the Main Street Philharmonic, the Voices of Liberty, an Armed Service Honor Guard, a video message from First Lady Michelle Obama and a flyover of the park by U.S. Navy jets.The procession is expected to step off in Frontierland at 4:45 p.m., and the ceremony will begin in Main Street, U.S.A. at approximately 5 p.m. U.S. Navy jets will pass over Magic Kingdom® Park sometime from 5:10-5:15 p.m. Please be aware that guests may hear and/or see the jets as they pass overhead during that time.As this ceremony is part of filming for an upcoming episode of ABC’s "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," some elements may be subject to change.
