PrincessNana 15
Sunday July 3 and we’re headed to Epcot. Colton had his first monorail ride and he was so excited. We got to the park early ( for us) and headed right over to Soarin. The wait time was 40 minutes , so we decided to stand in line and save our fast passes for something else. Amanda has an app on her phone which tells her which parks are red dot or green dot days. I think this was a green dot day. We managed to ride the Nemo ride, Ellens Energy Adventure, Spaceship Earth (I’m sure I have some of the names wrong) and Test Track. We headed back to the campground to do a little loopin and to rest for our dinner at Chef Mickeys. We had planned on dinner at Chef Mickeys with the idea we would be able to see the fireworks after dinner…didn’t quite work out that way. By the time we got out of dinner, the fireworks were all but over. We went down to the dock to wait for our launch and this was when the coolest thing happened. Security made us stand away from our dock because a special fireworks cruise was coming in and Peter Pan and Tinkerbell were going to light the way in with a lantern. Well, the boat didn’t come and it didn’t come so Colton edges his way over to Peter Pan. That was the nicest cast member ever! He spent at least 10 minutes talking to Colton and answering all his questions. He told him his secret to flying, but of course Colton wasn’t allowed to tell us about the pixie dust. Whoops! Don’t tell anyone. Anyway, the next day we were at the Magic Kingdom during one of the afternoon parades and Peter Pan (we’re assuming it was the same one) was in the parade and he stopped and reminded Colton not to tell the secret about how to fly. Its moments like these that make Disney so magical. That young man will never know what an impact he had on Colton.

PrincessNana 15
Later that day, we went to the Magic Kingdom (what were we thinking!) because the kids had an appointment at the Pirate League for pirate make up, etc. I'm not sure I like the look.By rladams at 2011-07-14Check out the scar.By rladams at 2011-07-14Here's our little princess...I must say, I really liked the Bibbidi Bop Boutique better.By rladams at 2011-07-14By the way, this is when Amanda earned the title "Piratazzi" so dubbed by the Pirates at the Pirate League. What better way to end the day than at the campfire, roasting marshmallows and eating S'Mores!By rladams at 2011-07-14Notice how much of that expensive makeup is left?By rladams at 2011-07-
okgirlie...Brandy 6
Hi, You probably drove as much as we did to get to the fort. We are from Oklahoma City-too many miles away.We had a blast with Peter Pan, too. How sweet of him to remember Colton. :) My son would have loved the Pirate look. I bet the next time we go he'll be too "old" for it. Love your pictures!
TnBob 311
Great pictures, scary pirates!I saw a little boy who had gotten the makeup job where his whole face was white, it was so hot his father had to wipe it off, the poor kid looked like he was ready to pass out until they got it off. okgirlie...Brandy 6
My children also did the Pirate Adventure. They did it on the 4th of July out of the Grand Floridian. I wasn't thinking when I reserved that time and day because it made us miss the golf cart parade. But my kids enjoyed the adventure so I am glad I signed them up. PrincessNana 15
We have a busy day planned for today..July 5. The kids are going on the Pirate Adventure out of the Grand Floridian and Louis and I are taking the Segway tour. The Pirate Adventure was the best thing the kids did on this trip. They absolutely loved it and haven't quit talking about it yet. Here's a few pictures of them getting ready and boarding the boat for their adventure. No parents are allowed, but they are in life vests and their were plenty of cast members to keep the kids safe.By rladams at 2011-07-16By rladams at 2011-07-16By rladams at 2011-07-16By rladams at 2011-07-16By rladams at 2011-07-16By rladams at 2011-07-
PrincessNana 15
Now, I'll tell you about the segway tour. We had a great time on it and the hosts were very attentive (I was a challenge to them because of my exceptional balancing skills). It was alot more strenous than we thought it would be, It's hard on your legs and feet. First of all, I can't tell you exactly where we went or our route because I was so focused on not hitting anything that I couldn't relax and enjoy the sights. We started at the bike barn, went through some loop to a trail ( like the dog walk trails...we went around Pioneer Hall, the stables and the trail to Wilderness Lodge. We were on the Segways about 1 1/2 hours and we got to see alot of things we had never seen before. I would highly recommend it to anyone...even chickens like me. By the way, I made it through the whole tour with no major oops...just one near miss with an electrical box as we were coming back to the bike barn. :rofl2:

PrincessNana 15
Wednesday, July 6 we have scheduled Hollywood Studios and another character lunch. This was the morning we met KampFireKim...the only time we managed to get everyone up,dressed and moving at a reasonable hour! We made it to the park just about at the rope drop. We were determined to get to the Toy Story Ride, if nothing else than to get a fast pass. When we got there the line was only 30 minutes. We got in line, rode it and then when and got a fast pass for a second round. The times worked out perfect for our lunch and when we were planning on leaving the park.By rladams at 2011-07-16After the ride, Colton wants to get a few autographs.By rladams at 2011-07-16By rladams at 2011-07-16Next thing on the list was Playhouse Disney and hopefully Jake and the Neverland Pirates would be performing. We weren't disappointed. After enjoying the show, we took in the Little Mermaid show and then headed over to Hollywood and Vine for lunch. Although we think the character meals are overpriced they do have an excellent buffet.By rladams at 2011-07-16By rladams at 2011-07-16By rladams at 2011-07-16This was snapped just about the time Allie was telling us she was now a "TWEEN" and would not be posing with anymore characters. Fat chance when you have a "Flashy Mom."After lunch we hit Toy Story again and then rode Test Track (never again for me!) before heading back. The girls were planning on a Harry Potter day and wanted to rest.

PrincessNana 15
Thursday, July 7 is the day Allie and Amanda are going to Universal Studios to see the new Harry Potter Land. Louis and I had planned on taking Colton back to Magic Kingdom when he said the most magical thing to us. "Would it be ok to just stay at the motorhome and watch tv and go swimming?" Nothing could have made us happier! The girls headed off and brought back alot of pictures to share.
