campingpixi 11
Well we are on the second leg of our trip which is Shenandoah Crossings in Virginia for a day then Ocean Lakes for a week!We got to Shenandoah Crossings yesterday around 1pm and set up and got a pizza at the market store here and it was good(pics on the camera) then we jumped into the hot tub we have on our site and relaxed from the drive. If it was not for the storm rolling through now I would be in the damn thing! But thats okay we will be back here next week anyway before we go home. Here are some pic that I took with my phone... Duane 152
Well it looks like C2C has finally gotten their act together... When we were members and you went to another campground other than your home park, they put you in the worst sites that the campground offered.... That was one reason we got out of the program. johnnyb aka John 15
Do you have to have coast to coast to camp there, or can the regular camping rednecks go there too??? :rofl2:

campingpixi 11
Well it looks like C2C has finally gotten their act together... When we were members and you went to another campground other than your home park, they put you in the worst sites that the campground offered.... That was one reason we got out of the program.maybe not... their own members do NOT get these sites they are for coast to coast only! The member sites and down in a hole that you pretty much have to put your vehicle in the lowest gear to get down there and back!

campingpixi 11
Oh lord where do I begin! This morning I woke up and started to make breakfast on the grill outsideand it started to pour 1 min after I put the bacon on. I was fine with the rain but it started to thunder too so I got all the food off the grill (getting soaked in the process) and continued to cook inside! After we ate we realized that our site had become the hub of all the water in the campground andwere shocked as to how much rain was all around the outside of the camper. We were planning on leaving around 8am but by then the storm was bad and getting worse so we stuck it out until about 10:30.And of course the rain stopped and the sun came out as we were pulling out of the campground!I don't think hubby could have been more pissed. You should have seen him and I should have gottena pic of him in his bright yellow rain suit that ended up ripping the butt out of by bending over to getthe sewer connection taken care of.Of course I have some pics...When we got to the road all was smooth sailing the whole way and we ended up at RVacation!I am watching camper follow the bulldozer around.. I guess they are done work for the day! They seem to be putting in some new sites here with a concrete pad for the awning mat there are about 10.Here are some pics that I took since I am already here and yes I will repost in the rvacation area too!Sites being put inPatio set by laundry roomWomens bathroom (VERY CLEAN)Lake picsLaundry roomFront of CampgroundOur site

campingpixi 11
Well we arrived at ocean lakes Wednesday and it was a good ride down here. After we got all set up hubby and I walked to thecampstore and bought some hotdog rolls cause we forgot them. Obviously we had hot dogs for dinner and some brats and they were GOOD!The kids enjoyed going to the park and riding their bikes for a bit then we went swimming in the indoor pool which was nice cause it was warm but we froze going back to the site.Today I made cinni rolls for breakfast and then we drove to georgetown to get some shrimp and fish and they had some great dealsat the Independant Seafood Company right there in town. There was hardly anyone there and everyone we passed on the street said Good Morning (lord knows that does not happen at home) We all liked looking at all the boats that were around the area too. my favorite was the shrimp boat of course. It looked like it was in a battle LOL!We came back to the site and put all the seafood on ice and went to the piggly wiggley and walked back out cause the prices were just crazy high in there and went on to Walmart.Hubby got irritated in the walmart cause not only did they card him for the booze but they carded me too cause I was with him.. something about 3rd party purchase or something. So then we were back at the site and hubby was cleaning some of the fish and the kids were at the park! Later at night hubby and I walked the beach and the kids played in the sand! Then came back to the site at lit a fire.Tomorrow we are just gonna chill at the beach and play in the water not sure how many pics I will get being that I am afraid to lose the camera and my phone LOLWell you all have waited and here are the pics so far.....OUR SITEWHILE AT GEORGETOWNWHAT WE BOUGHTSOFTSHELL CRAB HUBBY CLEANING THE FISHDARRYL GIVING TINK HER ICE CREAMI HAD TO TRY SOME BOILED PEANUTSGOTTA HAVE MY DRINKSHE LOVES HER DOUGHNUTS

SCTigerCock 171
Welcome to SC!!!!! :parrot: Tell hubby, yes we r strange. I get carded b/c of my hubby. Problem is he is 7 years OLDER than me. Guess I didn't age well. Oh well. At over 35, I appreciate getting carded at anytime. In fact I begged to be carded now. How sad. FYI, in SC, we have blue laws still and beer/wine sales are controlled by individual counties. So in some counties in SC, you can not purchase beer/wine on Sundays. Beer/wine can NOT be sold in the same "store" as hard liquor/hard alcohol. Liquor/hard alcohol packaging stores are designated by 3 red dots. All red dots are closed Sundays throughout the entire state of SC. some Pigs are still independent and have resort prices. How did you like the boiled p-nuts. Hope you got some fresh crop, makes a big difference. Have a great trip!
