The website looks nice but sometimes looks are well you know. If not here where else is good in the area? We have some business to do in the are and would be looking at only 2 days. Thanks! mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Also check out campgroundreviews.com The folks that have placed reviews there, seem to rate it pretty highly. I am thinking about staying there for a night on a trip out west. There are also recent guest pictures on the campground reviews site. https://www.campgroundreviews.com/regions/oklahoma/oklahoma-city/twin-fountains-rv-park-6131

h2odivers...Ray 952
Or you could’ve just asked someone that lives in Oklahoma City. LOL it’s a pretty nice campground and a very convenient location for most things you’ll want to do. And if I remember correctly the campground has a limo and they will take you to some of the local establishments for free. At least it used to be free. it is right next to Remington racetrack and casino, the softball Hall of Fame, the Oklahoma City zoo, which has one of the best elephant exhibits I’ve ever seen, and the Omni Plex. The Omniplex is an interactive science museum. You’ll be approximately 7-8 miles (10 minute drive) from downtown Oklahoma City. The Oklahoma City bombing memorial is well worth going to see. If you just walk the grounds it will take you about 15 Or 20 minutes. Which you can easily spend An hour or two if you go into the museum. at night I would recommend going to the Bricktown area of downtown Oklahoma City. They have lots of great restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues. As well as a Riverwalk like San Antonio has. Let me know if you need any tips or advice about things to do, C, where to eat, or just general info about our great city. mouseketab.....Carol and fladogfan aka Gretchen

Robin 48
Oh my thank you so much! We will try to check out the river walk. That sounds like something we will enjoy. We are planning on a few hours at 6 flags. Illinois is are local park but do not think that will open this year. We have kept are membership though. When I made are reservation there I did see that it is a lot smaller so only plan on being there for a few hours just to check it out. Thinking maybe the zoo in the afternoon. Do you think a afternoon is enough time?

Do you think a afternoon is enough time? Frontier city is a smaller amusement park but it’s still a lot of fun. They have a waterpark area with slides, etc. it’s a lot of fun. So bring your bathing suit. If your going during the week then yes 1/2 day at frontier city is plenty. But my 15yr old would say it’s not. Lol. the Okc zoo is 110 acres which is 10 acres bigger than the world famous San Diego zoo. but if you’re not the type that spends 15-20 minutes per exhibit 1/2 day should be enough. but make sure you see the elephants

It has 17,000 animals of 962 species. I may be slightly biased since I started going there back when I was about 6 years old, but I think it is the best zoo in the United States.
