Robin 48
We are planning a few nights in May for a car show in Bowling Green. In the past we have stayed at the Jellystone. We have always had a nice stay no problems. This time though we will not be spending much time at the campground. I don't want to pay their prices if not going to be there much other than sleeping and eating. I found 2 other places and can't decide Dad's Bluegrass and Cave country. Both are about the same price and distance. Has any one been or know anything about them? Thanks for your help in advance.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
I really enjoyed Cave Country, have stayed there twice. Really nice people, and ultra clean shower rooms.
TnBob 311
Have you looked up Beach Bend?
Robin 48
Thanks I think I will book at cave country. I did not know they had camping at the bend. I did look into it but that's where the show is and we are thinking it might be a little loud.
Robin 48
I'm sad to say our event like everything else got cancelled. Looking forward to next year!
WrigleysWagon 32
I know this is a year late but...we've stayed at both Cave Country and Dad's. Dad's is not a bad, but Cave Country is one of our favorite "quick weekend" stops. It's easy to get to, all pull throughs, clean gym and bathrooms, and they recently added a small pool. I have recommended CC to several people passing through KY or going to Mammoth Cave.
Robin 48
We recently got back and we ended up staying at Cave Country. I would recommend it. Super clean, easy pull thru sites, nice location, very quiet. Because of covid the store and little rec area were closed. Thanks for all the input!
