In another thread I recommended the Florence RV Park (formerly Florence KOA) in Florence, SC (I-95 south, about 30 miles south of South of the Border). For our upcoming trip in August we are taking the I-81/I-77/I-26/I-95 route, mainly so we don't have to deal with the traffic between DC and Richmond. It wasn't just our decision either we were with another famly who also had their camper. Let's put it this way our friend James' words "id rather not sleep with my pistol to feel safe tonight".
