PGHFiend 140
Anyone try this yet while at the Fort? Wife looked it up, walmart charges 9.95 to bring them....but what will the Fort charge/will they let them in? Looks like the crazy walmart does not, but the newer one on 192 does. Any info? BevarJ32 0
They will deliver to the front desk and they will place in a fridge till you pick it up. Beave
h2odivers...Ray 952
We used Walmart delivery this last Christmas. It was awesome! we actually used them twice on that trip. Once it was $9.95 and the other time it was $7.95. It depends on when you schedule your delivery. We weren’t staying at the fort so I don’t know what the forts policy is. Maybe you can arrange to meet the driver at the front if they charge.
h2odivers...Ray 952
We have used Garden grocer, Publix delivery and a few others at WDW hotels. And just like BevarJ32 said they will hold the groceries at the front desk.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
The Fort implemented a $5 fee for package deliveries to the Fort a year-ish (?) ago but I don't know if it applies to grocery deliveries too.
PGHFiend 140
Thanks all. I knew about Garden Grocer et al, but since the walmart grocery delivery is new up here, I wasn't sure how it was working out on property.
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
I've done the WalMart grocery pickup in the Disney area, but never the delivery. The pickup is easy peasy, just check in with the app when I'm about 30 minutes out, they track you as you are driving in, then when you pull into the spot, they bring your stuff out. We have done grocery pick up before, just not sure our 34' motorhome will fit in the pick up spaces.... 😁

We have used garden grocer before and Walmart’s delivery works the same except you pay a lot less. There’s no mark up at Walmart. You pay exactly the same as if you went to the store yourself. Theed31u 10
Does anyone know if this is still the case with Walmart? Another website said Disney will no longer allow Walmart to deliver because they won't allow it to be dropped off in plastic bags. This information was posted sometime in February this year. That sounds... like something someone posted on the internet. Even Disney will still have plastic bags available, I can't imagine them putting out a blanket policy that no outside deliveries can be in plastic.
