kadancer 82
DH and DS visited the Studios last week and were shocked to be dropped off at a bus stop that was farther from the park entrance than both the parking lots and the charter bus parking. When they finally got to the entrance area all of the old bus stops were blocked off. Does anyone know if this is a temporary condition?
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
Due to the skyliner construction they had to be moved. I believe it is temporary but will probably be for quite a while.
kadancer 82
The boys are of the opinion that they should be running trams to the bus stops since they are further away than the parking lots. The extreme distance added to our general disappointment in the bus transportation this summer.
Breezy2 18
Totally agree with the Tram suggestion from the current bus stops. The distance to the entrance in the summer heat earlier this week was brutal. Not to mention waiting for the Ft Wilderness bus in full sun with only one umbrella in the queue, NO FANS, NO WATER at each bus stop. It's the perfect storm for heat stroke or heat exhaustion and a lawsuit waiting to happen. Actually saw Cast Members walking by holding umbrellas - at least they were prepared for it. Won't do it again in the heat of the day and made sure to mention it in the Hollywood Studios survey that was emailed to me. More shade and some type of advance warning for those with mobility issues would be advisable.

I know Disney cares about their employees and cancels outside shows if the lightning detectors go off, but they let customers wander around blissfully unaware that they could get zapped at any time... shaffecv 12
Don't know if it improved any, but in March just getting in the lot was a nightmare. Most times traffic was backed up to Buena Vista coming in. The busses could barely make the swing into the original drop off area. And they had a few stop signs up that most cars weren't obeying in the exit lanes. The bus drivers who had that route should have been getting hazardous duty pay. mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
The walk to the park is still pretty bad, but at least looks nicer. The resort bus stops are temporarily at the new charter stops, and they are reworking the resort stops. What is also brutal, is we had to do a transfer at Disney Springs one night. All buses drop off near the Disney Springs "entrance" and we had to walk almost the entire bus "ring" to get to the Fort stop, and it was raining!! What made it worse, is we finished our meal at Beach Club and were about to board a MK bus to get back to the Fort, and the driver wouldn't let us board as the MK had just closed. They were doing drop off only. We should have fibbed and said our car was at the TTC.
