At Disneyland, you could catch glimpses of their Star Wars land from the Mark Twain, Railroad and Big Thunder Mountain, but they had constructed a big berm, and planted a lot of trees that will grow and obstruct the view. Here's a good example of how they handled Tower of Terror being visible from Epcot..
