BeckersDadJohn 44
Lucky for us our daughter received a post card from Marceline from another Fort Fiend. We were planning a West/Southwest trip and added it as a stop. We stayed 2 days and enjoyed every minute. Walt Disney’s parents moved the family there from Chicago. They lived on a 40 acre farm. Museum is located in the 2 story train depot. It is filled with Disney artifacts many fron Walt’s sister Rose. There is one room devoted to Disney collectors who submit items on a rotating schedule. Many of the volunteers new Walt from his visits to his “hometown”. Local eatery Ma Vic’s across the park from museum has great food. It’s located in an old building that once was a hotel. It’s said it inspired Walt to include on Main St Disneyland.
